What started as a shítpost about tampons being available in male toilets has made me realise that women have been fortunate to have these useful tools available for years, in vending machines, in toilets.
It’s been suggested elsewhere on here that tampons are now in all male toilets, yet I’ve still not found any.
“Because tampons are sterile and highly absorbent, you can use them as bandages to stop bleeding from wounds. In fact, US Army medics have reportedly used them since the Vietnam War. On and off the battlefield, they're also good for packing bloody noses or sopping up blood from a knocked out tooth”
This info ^^ was unknown to me until I asked G00gle. If tampons had been easily available to me on a night out a few years ago, it would have saved me a night waiting in A&E.
