Awful start to the Super League season for the Black and Whites of Hull FC. Five matches in, including a home drubbing by arch rivals Hull Kingston Rovers, and a humiliation at home to last season's Challenge Cup winners Leigh. Only a spirited performance at Catalans and a lucky victory at home to expected wooden spoonists London Broncos has punctuated the gloom. The current picture is completed by a 34-10 defeat at Warrington in round 2 - but at least that was expected. Discipline is lax, although that hasn't been helped by the imposition of some loosely interpreted rule changes, designed to offer protection against head injuries, resulting in a stop-start feel to the game. Unlike Australia's NRL which continues to be free-flowing.

This week sees the 6th round of the Challenge Cup, and I really fear for Hull FC, who are drawn away at Huddersfield. It's going to be a long season and as a one-time supporter of coach Tony Smith, I now feel he is holding the club back, and there seems to be no help from assistant Stanley Gene. Both are dinosaurs and must go. That will be down to owner and Chairman Adam Pearson and hopefully prospects will improve sooner rather than later, or the big fan base (12,000+ -which is excellent by British RL standards) will drift away - and not slowly either.

I hope I can return to this thread later in the season having been proven wrong. However - COYH!

Do you think it will be a real fight though?

I mean call me crazy, but I just dont see how anyone could truly believe Jake Paul could actually beat Tyson. I believe that so much that I even worry about Jake Paul's health in this fight. Tyson is as real as it gets, not ex basketball players or ex MMA fighters taking a dive. I dont see this fight lasting 2 rounds if it is the real deal.
 
The fight between the other Paul brother and Mayweather was rigged for sure. You can look it up. He rung his bell so hard he was about to fall over then hugged him and held him up. Low point in boxing. It was all for money I’m sure.

Thats how I feel about Jake and Woodley, that hand motion then Tyron just let himself get knocked out. I hope Tyson wouldnt do that, I feel like it could ruin boxing forever.

Yes of course that is why I am a big OKC mark. OKC is doing well but needs inside muscle that can score a bit. A few years back OKC drafted Alpere Sengun and traded him to Houston for some future number 1 pics. Could you imagine if they kept Sengun how scary that team would be?
