I dunno @Creed101 , Lebron James is pretty good. I have read some teams may consider drafting his son just so they can get Lebron. I mean his son has played one college game right?
Lets talk about the OKC Thunder. Very young team, Chet Holgrem blocked 9 shots last night and for a rookie has hit so many shots at the end of the shot clock or at end of period buzzers. SGA and JDub are a great pair of stars to add to that. The only negative right now is the Gidday situation. I have heard rumors he may be suspended soon and in the interim will devote his team to being a mod in General Chat.

I will have to report you for not defending that the Thunder have the greatest potential. I mean dude look at Houston and Detroit, been drafting top picks for a few years. Look at San Antonio they drafted maybe a kid that will be the greatest player ever but how many games have they won 2 or 3?
OMG just heard the Thunder traded Gidday and Lou Dort and a draft pick to the Knicks for Julius Randle.

How do they come up with names of theses teams? Like what does The FC stand for? (If you don’t mind me asking.)
 
please run Creed, Princessa is one of those from across the pond. Love our neighbors but no one there is tall or athletic enough to play a real sport like basketball, or have enough coordination to pitch and catch to play baseball and can you imagine 11 drunken Irishmen trying to play American football?
 
Knicks are doing well & Football Playoffs start today. While i dislike Ks & Mia i dislike that NFL screwed us over in terms of watching this later.
 
I think it was a good card. Costa fought way better than I imagined and Kopylov fought way worse than I expected. That KO of Volk, Im still in shock.

I think so too, not like he was whipped on or anything. My reservations, and not just with him, is the weird timing of an injury when there is a major fight. Then all the trash talk when they know they cant make the fight. Like between him and Khamzat.

Did you watch last nights fights with Ortega? That was a good fight. If you didn’t watch can a spoil the fight night?
 
Awful start to the Super League season for the Black and Whites of Hull FC. Five matches in, including a home drubbing by arch rivals Hull Kingston Rovers, and a humiliation at home to last season's Challenge Cup winners Leigh. Only a spirited performance at Catalans and a lucky victory at home to expected wooden spoonists London Broncos has punctuated the gloom. The current picture is completed by a 34-10 defeat at Warrington in round 2 - but at least that was expected. Discipline is lax, although that hasn't been helped by the imposition of some loosely interpreted rule changes, designed to offer protection against head injuries, resulting in a stop-start feel to the game. Unlike Australia's NRL which continues to be free-flowing.

This week sees the 6th round of the Challenge Cup, and I really fear for Hull FC, who are drawn away at Huddersfield. It's going to be a long season and as a one-time supporter of coach Tony Smith, I now feel he is holding the club back, and there seems to be no help from assistant Stanley Gene. Both are dinosaurs and must go. That will be down to owner and Chairman Adam Pearson and hopefully prospects will improve sooner rather than later, or the big fan base (12,000+ -which is excellent by British RL standards) will drift away - and not slowly either.

I hope I can return to this thread later in the season having been proven wrong. However - COYH!

Do you think it will be a real fight though?

I mean call me crazy, but I just dont see how anyone could truly believe Jake Paul could actually beat Tyson. I believe that so much that I even worry about Jake Paul's health in this fight. Tyson is as real as it gets, not ex basketball players or ex MMA fighters taking a dive. I dont see this fight lasting 2 rounds if it is the real deal.
 
The fight between the other Paul brother and Mayweather was rigged for sure. You can look it up. He rung his bell so hard he was about to fall over then hugged him and held him up. Low point in boxing. It was all for money I’m sure.

Thats how I feel about Jake and Woodley, that hand motion then Tyron just let himself get knocked out. I hope Tyson wouldnt do that, I feel like it could ruin boxing forever.

Yes of course that is why I am a big OKC mark. OKC is doing well but needs inside muscle that can score a bit. A few years back OKC drafted Alpere Sengun and traded him to Houston for some future number 1 pics. Could you imagine if they kept Sengun how scary that team would be?
