How many phones do you have?

I still have a lot of my older phones.
I cant bring myself to go recycle them because:
Long drive to best buy (only known place with electronic recycling bins)
I am weary of were theyll end up and possibly data scraped.

They sit in my closet collecting dust because I dont want tech and batteries to end up in landfill.
Some of them work some dont.

Wondering if i should throw them in a blender

Just one. It’s a smart phone, apparently, but it makes me dumber. I’ve been thinking about getting a dumb phone, because I feel like they’re actually smarter, and probably more durable. Speaking of durable… where to put this broken anvil. . . .

i'm infamous for never getting rid of old phones,

whether they're broken, or just old i generally throw them into one of my dresser drawers in my bedroom after they ran their course;

...don't ask...
