Hi guys
I have a pal whos a teachers aid and shes going through a hard time because she feels stuck in her job.Any advice I can give her?Shes also a bit overweight and although Ive told her not to worry deep down shes not happy with herself.Kind of at a loss how best to advise her.

She just has to keep looking and applying. When interviewing she needs to really focus on what the job duties and expectations are. Bigger people worry the physical of any new job will be too strenuous so she needs to know exactly what’s what before she leaves. Of course everyone is going to say she needs to push through and lose weight and this and that but realistically that won’t change in a day so the job is the immediate thing to work on first.

Like I mentioned you don’t want it be callus but don’t want to enable either. She needs to make all the right steps to better her own situation which is ultimately only in her control later.
