NOW; there appears to be a disturbing lack in a female that's a UM on our esteemed forum community, & @Chatmaster should add one right away!!!!

@TheLeigh has been shining brightly since becoming admin of Music and reviving it. She was trusted to take over Singles and has drastically changed that room. Leigh will say it’s a team effort and of course it is but teams need good leaders for anything to be successful.

Leigh would bring her decency, honesty, sense of humour, charm, and above all her sense of fairness to forums
 
I dont know what UM is but it sounds egregious.

I say NO, leave Leigh, in singles because we dont want another barsey losing her mind, having a breakdown because someone misspelled mongol as Mong.

Oh look we are being over run in singles by a mong herd. Next thing Baresy has pfas foam erupting out of her mouth. So Leigh has to stay singles.
 
i think @TheLeigh could handle being UM, as well admin of both singles & music chats…

les b honest, even with their numbers combined singles & music chat isnt nearly as active as say for example; general chat is, so she’d hardly be over worked…

like HR’s busiest moments are spent merging, & moving threads for seemingly no reason other than he can, & he’s UM as well as admin of one of the most saturated chats, so im sure @TheLeigh would be fine…

nevertheless it doesnt matter, bc @TheLeigh becoming the next UM especially being a woman, would be in the best interest of the website as a whole not just our two individual chats 🫶🏼

Let her decide, don't push it because you are more obvious than you think. To clarify overworking people is a sin. However, trust me that I know lots of people who try these tactics to burn out people and I will be honest, only uneducated dotes fall for it. @leigh at your leisure to decide your next move.
 
These forums don’t really need 4 UMs. With the amount of people and posts here, 1-2 staff should be able to manage the workload (as they have in the past). There are currently 3 which seems to be plenty. 4 would be overkill, IMHO.

Im not going to deny the fact that shes good at what she does but well some know her well enough she can't separate being serious in regards to help someone. The second she thinks or sees someone or a particular person become active her entire initial intent changes and instantly "chasing clout and fanbase" becomes her new goal and dont care about actually helping someone afterwards. Everyone is different but I mean its 2024 its just a old chat site?? No offense to the ones that do but its kinda mind boggling to believe people still go that far for "clout" in a lil pissy chatroom established in 2002. I had a Mod shield in May 2022. Don’t think it switched over on here until June 2022.

Parted with General for two-ish weeks, starting the end of September 2023 with an official end dated in early October 2023.

However, you’re correct.
I am not the OG Leigh.
I was interrogated (by chatters) for two weeks after receiving my Mod shield about it. 😂
