If you died today, would you be in Heaven or Hell?

My bet although it can never be proven is when you die you return to dust nothing more. The Earth will go on until the sun burns up.
I think before then an asteroid will hit earth and cause another ice age. Also a world leader with dementia could start a nuclear war. Once again life will end but the Earth remains. There is no heaven, no hell.

"Because the book says so" is the worst argument religious people come up with. Try better... And still: Nope. Neither. To me, neither heaven or hell exist, so I won't end up in either of them.

If it weren't for God, I wouldn't be here, so your argument is invalid. But you are entitled to your beliefs. Like I said, you're the one who will have to answer to him for denying him, not me.

Death is a pretty interesting topic, not many choose to touch on it. It's morbid yeah and most get a "Phobia" from simply thinking about it. Some are afraid to die basically. As my grandma usto say we are only on earth for a vacation. Life is a short one.!
 
The arguments surrounding religion are useless. Faith is important. Regardless or religion. Empathy should be a universally understood language, every religion (that I know of ) says this in one way or another. Why the lines in the sand? Anyone saying “ you’re going to go to hell” …. Have you been there ?
Anyone saying “there is no such thing as a god”. . Have you met one ? Are they in your phone on speed dial?

Let people believe what they want to because belief is important. Just don’t be that person that is only worried about winning an argument and proclaiming someone else to be evil…. That sounds like politics. Not religion.

For the entire history of religion people have used it as a tool of war. I don’t think war is the goal. If your religion leads you to war you are lost and you deserve to reap what you have sown.

I know this is probably a rich convo coming from an American, as americas ideals and values are imperialistic. I just don’t sign up for that garbage.

I’m going to be in a good place when I die. Whether that’s returning to the earth as dirt or ash, or in a heaven…. Who’s to know. I haven’t been there. .

I follow Jesus. Jesus stayed in Hell for a few days before he was resurrected on Earth for a solid month and then some, then ascended into Heaven.

I hear in Hell you can have sex you want. In the dark. With no love.

Yours is to offer platitudes and empty niceties, what a hollow existence devoid of honesty. I seldom ask myself do people like you even have a soul ? What is left to go to heaven i ask ? Must you not have a will, a soul first ? Thou shalt not lie and all you do is lie, a graver lie than all with your whole existence hiding it under honeyed words.

Thus i conclude boot lickers do not go to heaven, nor to hell honestly, yours is to be grubs upon the ground to pave the road for people with a future.

Such pleasant sounds do grubs make when you step upon them, like popping bubble wrap

@Harley Elizabeth I have seen some very beautiful drag queens. Very gorgeous drag queens. There makeup is awesome. There outfits are awesome. They know how to dress the best.
