Most gay males are born with less testosterone. from that they can't really grow beards and have higher pitched voices and everything developing takes longer. they become gay or they are brought up in a tolerant household with gay family members. The DNA in both Dom gays and fem gays are similar not exactly the same. both are just born with less manly DNA. that is why when they reach a certain age woman are not on their minds at all. all they both want is men. the feminine gays just have more feminine DNA so most are bottoms. and the more manly gays are the tops.

Don't bring religion into a debate about sexuality and gender. The whole argument is done with the minute you say "But god made us!" because if god didn't want gay people (born or chosen) they wouldn't exist, right? God is meant to be all powerful. Surely your almighty god wouldn't create something he didn't want to create.

It basically suggests that ALONGSIDE genealogy, socialisation and outward input can influence sexuality. Maybe your rebellion against the gay community will help those genes surface in your own children/family and you'll have to take a long hard look at how you treat them and your own views in terms of acceptance and 'Live and let live'

As for this, I know more "masc" gays than feminine ones, and those same men aren't always tops. Some of the biggest tops I know are more feminine and it's their aversion to anal sex and the miseducation around it that does this. Also, power-bottoms are a thing.
Sexual tastes don't correlate to sexual identity. I know of unassuming, feminine, book-worm type looking women who own dungeons. I also know a very "out there" kind of man who seems like he'd sleep around who is vanilla and doesn't put out, outside of committed relationships.

Maybe, just maybe, you only recognise more camp, outwardly feminine men as gay men, and instead don't notice the big buff dude who is masc at the gym as gay.
I have a gay male friend, 6'2. perfect teeth, gym 5 x a week, rugged looking, and power lifts. The amount of women who will try and catch his eye when we're out is hilarious to watch... Because that man likes peen and peen only... Oh, and he's a vers.

God created everything even Satan. Why would he allow evil? How do you live if not through free will? God doesn't force you to do anything. He teaches you right from wrong but allows you to choose to either. You grow in strength by resisting evil. He also shows you his love and grace by forgiving your sins. We demonstrate the character god wants by the choices we make.
Just like you teach a child right from wrong but still give him the choice to learn from his mistakes. Just like his character will be determined by what he does when no one is looking.
There is no gay gene otherwise there would be a commonality in the gay pool. Socialization and outward input sounds a lot like influence.

And you're correct. If we go off the oldest work of fiction in history God did create evil. By abandoning his son. I wonder if Satan was maybe a little gay and that's why he was abandoned. No. Wait. Add to the point, how many religious men watch female on female porn. How many make a joke (that's not really a joke) to their partners about threesomes and experimenting with women. It's only an issue when it's man on man, it seems. Weird that.
And just like you can give people a bible and let them see that some of what it condoned is wrong in a modern society. Paedophila, eating anything that bleeds (better go vegan, guys!), women not speaking and having to cover their hair. What about dashing a baby's skull open for happiness? Psalm 137:9, I do believe.

There is no gay gene.
There are genes that contribute to sexuality but there is no gene that says this person is chosen to be gay.
The study you cited did not even ask the participants about what their sexual preference was, only their sexual behavior.
Since everyone here argues that sexuality can change willy nilly.
Not only but it also concluded that genetic twins often have completely different sexual preferences.
