Quantity over quality here thats all there is to it. Thats why guest accounts dont get turned off and why there is such a difficult avenue to getting someone banned. Obviously we know some do get banned but at the end of the day if every problematic user were to be banned the site traffic would drop significantly. I do think turning guest accounts off (lets face it its a way ppl bypass kicks/mutes and ignores so easily and most if not all guests i have seen in vgc are problematic with the most vile remarks) and the highly problematic ppl were banned the numbers would drop but over time more people would be inclined to sign up and stay if chat quality was taken into account beyond normal moderation and the traffic would pick back up to where it was before.
