can you be homophobic and part of the LGBT

I am actually pretty happy with how we have it in the UK. I certainly haven't faced any really direct homophobia for example, but there are plenty of ways in which many people have a long way to go to actually accepting gay people. (Although mostly those kinds of people are just intolerable knobheads in general anyway)

Having said that, I don't know much about things like paternity leave for gay couples for instance because I haven't been in those situations, but I would imagine that it would be those kinds of areas that would be where there is potentially room for inprovement.

So this sort of into what I meant when I said that there are still obviously individuals who have issues with LGBT people. Homophobia, transphobia, TERFs do exist, and I would never try to argue otherwise because I'm not blind, deaf or stupid. The difference is that that's not necessarily a fundamentally 'equality-based' issue. I'm focussing mainly on the actual demonstrable rights that LGBT individuals have that may or may not be the same as everyone else's, and, in the UK, as far as I'm aware we're actually very well-off in that respect in my experience.

People hate other people for all kinds of reasons and I think trying to eradicate that, or not being happy until everyone fully accepts everyone else with NO exceptions at all, is a never-ending battle that will only lead you to more and more unhappiness.

So when I asked what proof you want (bearing in mind that you asked for proof) your answer is effectively "I don't want proof, I just want to stick with my beliefs". I get it, and that's on you and you're obviously well within your rights to hold that opinion, I fully respect that.

I'll try another question though. In all seriousness, what negative effect(s) does someone else being trans have on your life?

Don’t manipulate your interpretation of my post; you’re making an assumption when you claim “I stick to my beliefs” - not at all is it only my belief- I just genuinely don’t get why someone who can’t accept their genitalia/‘feelings’/image but yet expect others to accept they’re who they CLAIM to be- it is not who they are.

Man becomes woman- can’t give birth
Woman becomes man- can’t impregnate someone.

^Both examples not scientifically possible without modification.

Modify yourself, you’re not who you ‘are’. It’s a figment. Sorta like porn stars later in life who are so called tormented for being slags then say “ITS NOT WHOOOOO I AMMMMMMMMM ACCEPT ME NOWWWWW”.

I wouldn’t personally by choice associate with that; they infuriate themselves over their own pronouns, paint themselves red attaching tampons to prove their femininity (despite they can’t get periods(?!)) nah not for me.
