Comin' Out

I’ve recently had to come out as straight because you and your fellow GC mods have people convinced otherwise

Seriously though, I'm not surprised you had to come out as straight. You're an honourary gay and we all love you<3

Obviously that love is mutual! I tell anyone who will listen how fantastic you lot are.

Except @David NY. That furry bitch has turned into a right bully.

But I don’t want to derail this thread. I agree with what’s been said. In an ideal world nobody would have to come out. Unfortunately, it’s still a thing. But each and every one of you is a strong fucker and I’m proud to know so many people who are happy being themselves<3

Actually lovely to say ☆

Ive been thinking the exact same thing and saying it occasionally....maybe it starts with us? This is all be thinking out loud but its such a common question amongst the gay girls I talk to, maybe we need to just be.

I know in days past it was very important but society has moved quite a ways....

Still each to his own I am happy for people to come out and I always hope and pray it goes well for them.

PS i hope i havnt offended anyone I think about topics like this exploring in my own head ways and paths for a different way of lookimb at them.
Don’t think you could offend anyone darl.

Labels are for clothes. I genuinely do think it’s easier nowadays but I can understand the fear of doing so based on others experiences.

Comparing disapproval of not being "straight" to racism is a slanderous, bigoted, oblivious and ignorant comment. It shows your willful ignorance or the religions of the world and the reasons behind rejecting such behavior. There are also philosophical reasons for rejecting it like it not being conducive to procreation of humankind and therefore counter productive for us, obviously. And is is clear it is not simply a rejection of gayness but other disorders it can lead to. To pretend you don't know any of the debates behind this at your age and as if it is like racism is intellectual dishonesty and virtue signaling. You might as well replace gay with murder and then without basis day, "well rejecting killing unborn babies is like racism, eventually they will get over it and yay". What? Man, grow up. And let the unborn grow up. And don't even tell me "pro choice" and LGBTQ matters are separate as anyone old enough knows that a new religion has formed around the right to abort, gender, age and creature identifying (like claiming to be a cat) without being challenged (as in being fined or arrested for stating a difference in belief), persecution of Christians (like praying in your head by an abortion clinic), and other flavor of the day beliefs and being known as Wokism has formed. It isn't some mere issue of rejecting sexual non-normalcy just cut, but because of belief in a God of order and laws. Further, certain gays engage in child grooming, and use Wokery to try and normalize it among kids the way gay priests do in Catholic churches. Don't pretend this is a simple matter of some mindless bigotry. And don't turn this into a "there is no Zeus" debate either. There are not endless books giving evidence for a Zeus, but for Yahweh, a Creator, plenty and plenty of debates Christians won against atheists.
Damn that’s a lot of words just to throw out a little bait…

I came out as ace at the age of 18.
For those who don't know ace(asexual) means I feel little to no sexual attraction towards anyone.
Now I do feel romantic attraction, 99.9% of the time toward other females.
At the time I came out most around me were either accepting or very confused, (I think some people are unaware of asexuality).
Before it I felt alot of anxiety about coming out as I worried people wouldn't accept me. But for the most part people stuck by me.
That's my story

Thing is, if you look at the facts (this is the first step), people are born with their sexuality and it can't be changed... it's been well proven and documented... and being biased against someone because of the way they were born is unfair and evil regardless of your religion... the book YOU follow tells YOU not to be gay (which isn't a choice)... it DOESN'T tell you to be hateful and bash other people's lifestyles... in fact, it says to love everyone... so maybe you should read your own religious book instead of mindlessly spouting your evangelical horsecrap?
