Is there a god without religion?
Is there a god without churches?

It is nice that there maybe a higher being, but is that higher being something within ourselves that has merely been labelled as 'god'?

Is GOD our conscience?

I am open to the idea, but at this point in time and from 54 years of life experience, I can honestly say I do not feel the presence of a higher being that could be labelled as GOD.

I also don't understand the need of certain people that constantly shove their religion down other peoples throats. If I shoved my d!ck down your throat you would be none to happy and would probably, and rightfully accuse me of r***pe, but you force me with you god bother bible thumping ways is completely acceptable?

Why compare religion to a penis? We know both exist, but they are best kept to ourselves and not waved in peoples faces. It is offensive and I have no time or tolerance for that sort of behaviour.

Religion and Churches are nothing but a business, they don't promote GOD or weather or not GOD exists, it merely promotes bums on seat and dollars in the church purses.

I assume by "religion" you mean institutional religion. Never felt the Sally Ann was a business on Christmas eve, or social gospel as a business either. Christian anarchists do their thing well outside the parameters of the institution-probably because they are busy- doing.

I think it;s fine for anyone to profess anything they believe or think, ofc I believe in free speech. My favorite quote, that relates to this is from Saint Francis who said a version of " Preach the Gospel at all times. Use words if necessary."

Totally ok with anyone thinking of religion any way they want, With all due respect though- I think the reference to it and sex organs etc was a bit icky. If hearing what "others" profess bothers anyone, why not just tune them out? In any event, I personally find positivity is more world changing than negativity.

Im a Christian Anarchist, if labels are needed I'd be counted among the Religious Society of Friends, aka the Quakers.

Not a fan of people putting words in my mouth. I mean what I say and if anyone wants to put words in my mouth or trivialise my thoughts, then that is merely a reflection of the person they are.

I have said it time and again, I do not seek, nor do I need anyone else's acceptance, approval or validation.

yes, because God created Jesus and Jesus saved us and sacrificed etc.
 
Not religious whatsoever however I do believe in something. We’d never know anyway. However I believe if we all saw reality as one, it’d be like Silent fucking Hill.

You’d see the real monsters.
 
I think the term for me is agnostic, which means I've not got a Scooby Doo. He could be, he could not be.

But 1 thing I know for certain, IF he is real, and heaven and hell are a thing... im definitely off to hell
 
I'm not against the idea of a creator/deity, but if there is one, I don't think any of the mainstream religions have got it right. They don't make much sense, IMO.

I agree with you with the part that says I'm not against the idea of a creator. I'm not against that creator part either. 🙂

There are so many different types of religions for sure.

I will always be a Christian. I love others still. God loves us all. 🙏🙂💖

I will always believe in God. I will always believe in Jesus. Amen.

Most of the people involved are cash grabs or worse cultist mentality-like. Best example for America would be Joel Osteen.

Yeah he's pretty sh*tty. Even worse, a lot of the for-profit religion groups in America enjoy tax exempt status for they money they rake in from the people because the deity they claim to serve doesn't seem able to provide it.
