[occ: sorry, I didn't know that was against the rules]
.......................
Just as Seeker was about to take her seat at the table, she felt this weird feeling, as if someone was watching her, consuming her. She lifted her head to look at this...guy with a beer bottle in his hand, and thought to herself, another ****y ******* who thinks he knows everything. Ha! little did he know how wrong he is! He's making a BIG mistake at underestimating this "poor little new girl".

Although Seeker hadn't had much practise and training, her telepathic skills are still better than most, because it is in her blood. So she concerntrated hard, and sent her thought-waves to that guy at the far end of the table and she read his mind with ease. A smile crossed her face, but she was careful not to let anyone see, because she doesn't want them to know how strong her powers are...yet.

Seeker sat down and started eating, she was absolutely famished. The journey was unbearably long and tiring. So after the meal, she quickly excused herself and went up to her dorm.

As she layed on her bed, her thought went to that guy who was leering at her before and a smile crossed her lips again. I'll show him not to mess with me. Indeed I will. It's only a matter of time before he learns never to cross Seeker.

(Lmfao, a phsycho in a school!)

-Joe sat at the end of the table, even though he wasn't trained in telepathy he could feel someone sifting through his thoughts, he could trace it, or know what they found, but he knew they were there, he smiled and raised the bottle to his lips again, poor little girl, trying to be all big and read his mind, it was really kind of sad, he woulden't need to do anything to her, he could just let he do what she liked, as soon as she tried to hurt him, she would be burning.-

[LMAO!! I'm NOT a psycho! just trying to make it interesting, that's all]

No matter how hard she tried, Seeker couldn't sleep, despite the weariness in her bones, her mind is just too excited to rest. So she got out of the bed, and started rummage through her trunk.

At last! She found it! It was a book titled How to disguise telepathy and it was written by none other than her own father who was a master at the art and the consealing thereof. She turned to page 63, where she book marked it and began to read...

When performing telepathy, one should try not to let the other person suspect anything is amiss. It is advisable for the performer to weave a block-out net first so that the prey cannot feel anything.

Damn! She forgot to weave the block-out net...so that means that guy probably suspected what she was doing. But no matter, she now knows how to do this block-out, so the next time, he won't have a clue what hit him!

Alethea walked over to her friend's table, with a plate of lasagne in hand. She pulled a chair out, as the others nodded in recognition, sat down. She dug into her meal with her fork and took a bite. Too cold. She blew on it, with her fiery breath. It was steaming hot.
The rest of the group had their heads hung low.
"S'up?"

The noise down-stairs was too much to bear, so Seeker weaved a block-out net around herself so she can concerntrate on her book. She is now on page 159, 4 more chapters and she'll be finished. Then she can move on to An Intermediate's Guide to Telepathy.

But before she can do that, she must get more practise with her block-out net. She's a fast learner because ever since she was little, she has been teaching herself how to strengthen her powers, so the teachers at this school would just be an added bonus.

Exhaustion finally caught up with her, so she closed the book, put it on her bed-side table, crept into bed, and slept.

-Joe, through a year where he had been lost, he had found refuge in some place, he never found out where, he could clear his mind, he always found it usefull, whenever there was a problem or something he wanted to sort out, he would simply close his eyes and drift into his own mind and find things out, he used this, as if to look up a old book, he found a record of something, he nodded, he now knew her name, Seeker.
he smiled, he leant back taking another swig from his beer.-

Not long after she fell asleep, Seeker was once again impaled by the same night-mare that has haunted her for years.

They were running in the dense dark woods, looking behind them from time to time, to see if they had caught up. "Faster!" cried a male voice.

"I can't. Dad, Please! I can't run anymore! Help me!!" tears ran down the 10 year old Seeker's eyes as she said those words.

"You have to. Hurry, they're catching up."

Just then, a strong hand gripped my shoulders as I found myself pulled up towards a tree.

"Stay here, and don't move. Promise me. And here, take this necklace. It belonged to your grandmother, and it is very very powerful. Keep it safe. and I love you."

"Ok, Daddy. I love you too."

Just like that, Seeker's father left his 10 year old daughter. He ran, and ran, trying to lure them away from his precious daughter, the only thing he had left in the entire world.

Minutes later, a piercing scream broke the silence of the night as Seeker watched her father get caught within the net. That was the last time she ever saw her beloved father.

Seeker woke up drenched in sweat. She was breathing heavily now. The dream was more real than ever before. She doesn't know what that means, and she's afraid. Very afraid. The ones that killed her father are still after her because they want the necklace and they want her power. Hopefully, the school will protect her from them. Else, she'll be on her own once again.

(what the hell happened to the hapiness? Now we all dark....)

-Jack walked from the dining hall. He asked what room Seeker was staying in. AFter he had introduced himself, she didnt answer. He thought he did something that might have offended her. He walked to the door of her room.-
-He knocked on the door.-
"Seeker!"

[Oh...sry...I didn't know we were supposed to be happy...Okie...I'll try and be more gay, lol]

Hearing the knock at the door, wondering who it could be, Seeker got out of her bed and went to open it.

It was the guy she saw earlier down at the dinner table. She couldn't help concealing her pleasure at seeing him. So she smiled at him the sweetest smile and said, "Hi".

(You dont have to gay....or happy.....It was a joke....a bad joke but still a joke....)

"Hi, I'm Jack. I saw you at dinner, I wanted to say sorry if I offended you cause It felt like I did. I'm not sure how but I just wanted to say sorry." -Jack said, standing in the doorway.-

[lol...it's ok, I really don't want to depress everyone]

"What? No, you didn't offend me at all. I was just tired, so I thought I'd come up here and try get some sleep." said Seeker, very much aware of the fact that she's in her skimpy PJ and wasn't too concealing at all. As the light from the corridors illuminated her body, every curve was clearly distinguishable. She felt Jack's gaze on her and her face turned a bright red crimson.

"Umm...would you like to come in?" asked Seeker invitingly.

[Say Yes!]

(It usually like that around here anyway.)

"Sure." -Jack said, without almost any hesitation. He walked in the room and saw a vareity of strange things. There was a trunk and some stuff throw out of it and around it. He leaned against the wall.-

"You ok?"

"I am now." giggled Seeker. Outside, she appeared perfectly calm, but inside, she was a bundle of nerves because 1.) She NEVER giggles and 2.) oh my gosh! he's sooo HOT! and 3.) She soo needed a hug right now.

but before she said anything to that effect of wanting a hug, she remembered the scene at the dinner table. Wary of her actions, she asked, "Umm...Can I ask you a question? Uh...are you and that other girl going out or something?"

Secrectly, she crossed her fingers behind her back and whispered to herself, "please say no. please say no."

[yay]

"umm...no reason...just wondering, that's all." said Seeker and her eyes made contact with his, and was startled to find how lovely they are. She then settled her vision on his soft, delicate lips and starts wondering what it would be like to touch them, to kiss them, with hers.

Aware that she is staring quite rudely, she cleared her throat and trys to think of something to say.

"Umm...well, uh...I don't have a boyfriend either." said Seeker as she looked expectantly in his eyes and willed him to ask her out.

[occ. and you can't pretend to not know what I'm thinking cause I'm telepathic, so I can send my thought waves to you. lol]

(So now I have no choice?.....lol.)

-Jack was thinking about all the stuff in her room and about how some of it was kind of odd but a sudden interuption in his thoughts came. The thought said "Ask her out.". Jack had never been to any telepathy classes, nor had he ever had the need to clear his mind so he had absolutely no idea where it came from other then himself.-

"Wanna go out with me?"- The words escaped him before he had a chance to even think about what he was going to say. It was odd but Jack still had no idea.-

-Joe, as usual, was bored, he had clambored onto the roof and was now laying still, he was thinking about that boy from earlier.
Something about that boy was, well, to put it in one word, differant.
Special.
It had scared him, not much scared him, but this boy did, Joe sighed and looked at the sky, something told him something else was happening in this school, he got up and looked down, a small glow near a tree showed someone was awake, Joe guessed it was Alethea.-

Alethea did not see Joe, and instead concentated on a young girl coming from the other direction.
She felt as though they knew each other, but she was out of place. She clambered down from the tree, and ran up to greet her.
"You're not meant to be here," she told the girl, as an almost warning. The girl shrugged.
"ALETHEA!" Joe called her. He ran up to her, and gave her a hug from behind. He checked the girl out, but Alethea hit him. "Who's your friend?"

A smile slowly formed. Yes, she is getting very good at manipulating people indeed. She gave herself a mental pat on the back and turned her attention to Jack.

"Yes! I will" and before Jack can reply, Seeker took a step and closed the space between them. Now they're almost touching, and she flattened her hands on his muscled chest and whispers, "Now kiss me."

She tilted her head upward towards his, noticing for the first time how very tall he was. But at this point, she didn't care. All she cared about was Jack, and the way his lips felt as they pressed against hers. A tiny groan escaped from her as she savoured every moment of it.

(( xx;;;;; ))

Alisa blinked a few times, feeling her pale cheeks grow hot and red. She suddenly spun around and walked out of the dinning room, no longer wanting to see or hear anything that was going on. She growled, thinking to herself. 'WHAT THE HELL WAS HE THINKING?! HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW HER! SHE'S NEW HERE!!!' Alisa stomped up the stairs and to her dorm room.
When she got there, Alisa slammed the door shut and dropped down onto her bed crying. Her small, delicate body trembled vuiolently as she laid there, her head buried in her pillow. Pieces of her hair spread out all over her body as she groaned, closing her dark optics.
