Female UM?

I made a point in another thread that sometimes, people prefer speaking to a particular gender in regards to issues.

Could we consider getting a female UM for this reason?

A woman reporting sexual harassment might not want to deal with a male, for example. On the other foot, a male might not want to speak to a female... or maybe he does want to speak to a female over more sensitive issues that wouldn't be deemed masculine or something. It could also help to have someone see something from another viewpoint.

Not disregarding current UMs (Well, not the majority of them) being approachable or anything. Just think it might be a nice idea to have both a female and a male in a UM position for moments where this might be the case?

Thoughts?

He's instigating as much as tall man was the other night and trying to turn it into a debate because I used female and male, disregarding that the majority of the 72 genders lean towards a masculine or feminine energy. He thinks it will catch me out, it won't. I literally work with the LGBTQIA+ community 😂.

Also, why has he not been frozen out of this thread for going exactly what he froze out @StubleU for?

(a post about staff jobsgiven due to gender, is difficult to avoid questions of gender. ) ive nothing more so all good tc
 
lets have a trans UM? so its both genders so its equal problem solved bye

Erm what am i? fking chopped liver????? For the sake of keeping all things transparent i now no longer identify as female , so i fit the bill nicely.
