hai friends, 🙋🏼♀️
in tonight's episode, i bring u something thats a breath of fresh air from the usual scheduled (award winning) programming & maybe even a lil' bit of positive + creative fun 😇
in this thread, we make haikus; but wait, wat is a haiku??? 🤔🤔🤔
great question, vanessa, allow me to explain!!!!!
the haiku is a Japanese poetic form that consists of three lines, with five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, & five in the third the haiku developed from the hokku, the opening three lines of a longer poem known as a tanka... the haiku became a separate form of poetry in the 17th century...
the rules of the thread are easy:
1. ur post must be a haiku, if ur commenting on someone else's haiku... then u need to include a haiku of ur own too along with your comment
2. try & be consistent on being a true haiku; *three lines, 5 syllables in the first, seven in the second, & 5 in the third* but it's not absolutely necessary, still cannot exceed three lines
3. it's not a haiku if it's not written entirely with syllables
4. all posts other than haikus is derailing;
@Apollo @H.R. PufnStuf @Ness_eb pls delete posts that are not haiku if theyre reported
5. haiku about other ppl is okie, & encouraged but keep it PG13; if u make a haiku about someone, u must tag them (no sneak dissing)
