Lately, there seems to be a buzz around hsn vitamins.
They claim to help give you beautiful hair, skin and nails, using a mixture of biotin, frolic acid and other vitamins and supplements.

Im interested in trying these.
:hmmm:

Has anyone had any experience with them, what are your thoughts?
Or maybe you have other methods to beautify your hair, skin & nails?

Vitamin C for the Skin

Vitamin C for the Skin

I read from a blog about the benefits of Vitamin C serum to the skin. Serums has the ability to go deeper into the skin and Vitamin C brighten the skin and help reduce the appearance of pigmentation and age spots. I researched online and came across Triple Action Vitamin C Serum by Voilave, I found it on Amazon. I'm so happy that I tried the product, it made my skin smooth, refreshed and younger looking. This product is affordable and works well for me. Try it too. 😀

I use them. Couldn't hurt to try.

I don't take vitamin tablets...but for my skin I apply Almond oil after bath, It has vitamin E which is good for skin and its smells good. (Olive oil too)
For my hair I keep swapping between Coconut oil, olive oil and Almond oil and sometimes I mix them all, just heat it a little before applying.

Oh yes, these are good. I use supplements all the time. It's a good idea to ensure you get all the vitamins you may not get from food if you are very busy. So this post was a while ago - how did you find them for you?

Coconut oil! I'll use it as a hair mask before taking a shower and I put it on my face before bed every night. Amazing make-up remover and moisturizer. I've even stopped using regular lotions and started using coconut oil instead. You can add it to your bath or just rub it on afterwards. Either way, amazing. Works great on nails as well. I buy it at Target in the baking aisle 🙂

Ive heard of the wonders of coconut oil and I may try it eventually..but Ive been using Seven Seas Hair, Skin and Nails with Omega 3 for a few years now and it works miracles.

Yes, it's good to take vitamins. Especially when you have all of what you need in one. But there are also things you can use in your home to help make sure everything feels right.

For your nails- You can use what another user said, Coconut oil, it is so good for everything. As a moisturizer it helps with severely damaged and dry skin, very good as a hair masque too.
--- You can also use olive oils, just apply it with brush of some sort, I use an empty nail polish bottle and just use that. You can purchase some from Sally's Beauty Supply or your local beauty store. Just dab some around your cuticles and slightly underneath the nail. Do this once a day for a week until you see changes. If you don't, do it for two weeks and keep the olive oil on your cuticles for 10-15 minutes.

Hair-- Coconut Oil, there are other home remedies too, I know it sounds gross but if you ever need to put moisture in your hair because of its dryness, sometimes putting on a mixture of honey, egg yolk, and olive oil can help. I'll list instructions below:

Ingredients

  • The first ingredient that you would need would be egg yolk itself. The amount of egg yolk required depends on the length of your hair. The lengthier your hair, the more egg yolk you would need for the mask.
  • The second ingredient that you would need would be olive oil. Three table spoon of olive oil should be enough to make the mask.
  • The third ingredient you would need would be honey. Again, three table spoons of honey should be enough to make the mask attain its effectiveness.
Directions

Making the mask is extremely easy. Simply make a mixture out of egg yolk, olive oil and honey and then massage the mixture formed gently over your scalp and hair. Once you have massaged the mixture over your hair, remember to wrap around a towel over your hair. Take off the towel after 20-30 minutes before rinsing your hair with warm water for best results.

Skin-- Again, coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, aloe.
