We haven't got Alexa or any similar tech although I did once tell a friend's Alexa to set an alarm for 03:30 the next morning...

Yes got it on my 4th bday. Been fortunate ever since.

I once turned back on a ridge walk that I'd done probably 7 or 8 times before because something just wasn't right. On our way down one of those microburst type weather events hit. No sign of a storm front, no idea where it came from and it was over in no time at all.
