Getting a touch of Tropical Storm Beryl all day today, however the other northern islands may get hit harder if it turns into a hurricane as is being forecasted.

Considering we're in October it's not been that bad this week. Apparently we're getting 4 days of snow in a couple of weeks though. 😬❄

With added cancellations of airports closing, trains being cancelled, etc etc etc - Few bits of snow and the UK goes mental. Not that we should know how to deal with it by now or anything 🙄🙄

I'm roasting!

Went down to me local supermarket and they were out of ice, what a ****ing liberty, no ice? No ice? Leave off...
 
It's unusually warm for mid-January with no sign of snow. The temperature is 17°C, and it's raining. It feels more like March, and I even noticed a few spiders and other creatures moving around when I went to gather firewood this morning.
 
Storm Éowyn has been named by the Met Office and will bring severe gales to parts of the United Kingdom on Friday.

The Met Office has issued yellow warnings for wind on Friday and Saturday.

Gusts of up to 90mph (145km/h) - or possibly even more - could bring localised damage, power cuts and travel disruption. Heavy rain and hill snow are also expected.
Batten down the hatches. 😱
 
There goes my climbing on Saturday. 100+mph on the tops plus potential blizzard/whiteout conditions. Bah.

I don’t think this cyclone knows what the hell it wants to do. Look at all the loop-the-loops it’s doing. Crazy.
 
Not raining for once. If I wanted to live in the rain, I’d move to Cairns or migrate to my ancestral homeland. Anyyyyway, rain’s coming back in 2 days.
