Insomnia...

[/LIST]
I typically feel sleepy after a big meal, so I do the exact opposite and it helps me get to sleep.

That's good that it helps sleep - but bad for burning fat and staying healthy. There are some difficulties with this.

I had bad acid reflux - so maybe the beauty of still being young? :shock1:

You should add caffeine to your list. I drink a lot of iced tea during the day, but once I eat dinner I switch to water. People I know who have a hard time sleeping spend all day drinking coffee and/or soda. This is a big no-no, especially after sunset.

I find that a calcium and magnesium supplement before bed really helps. Tried CBD but makes me too groggy

You can take sleeping pills, but they should be prescribed by your doctor. Also I recommend to find out possible side effects first. It is easy to do this online. But if I were you, I would try the alternative ways before taking medications.
Here are some tips for beating insomnia:
1. Wake up at the same time each day.
2. Limit naps.
3. Exercise regularly.
4. Do exercises.
5. Eliminate alcohol and stimulants like nicotine and caffeine.
6. Do not eat or drink right before going to bed.
7. Choose your most comfortable pillow and mattress.

CBD gives me a fuzzy head, weed is illegal, sleeping tablets are a short term fix… but as a chronic insomniac I have found the best cure to be exhaustion and a bedtime routine.. so for example, I always brush my teeth and cleanse my face and lotion last thing at night and I think the scents and the rituals have now become associated with relaxing. It doesn’t always help but at least it’s something.

You should start life coaching. Because Last year I was also suffering from this then someone recommend me for life coaching and now I no longer have insomnia, thank you The Coach Training Academy for improve my mental health and no more insomnia. When I start to not sleep well and having depression, I started life coaching. Life coaching makes me feel free from insomnia and depression as well. Highly recommended for this.

It’s important to determine whether or not an underlying issue or medical condition is causing your insomnia. Some cases of insomnia are a result of stress or some other emotional or physical condition that needs separate treatment. Many times, sleep patterns return to normal when these conditions are successfully treated.
