Is it healthy?

I understand there is a ethics view of
"Bullying people is bad, no bullying people."

But then again, being fat has become so normalised now.
And fat women in particular are endorsing unhealthy living.
Most fat influencers have now died from their weight.

Should fat shaming be normalised and endorsed?
In the correct situations, of course.

Most fat/obese people are taking themselves out with their ways of eating. like any stupid phase that people fall into people will eventually wake up and realise they are just slowly killing themselves.

I dunno if they will make a real change or not. maybe with enough stupidity around them they will change their ways.

@H.R. PufnStuf @Ness_eb can you please explain why threads like this are allowed? Has forums become a place where the most extreme ideologies companied with the most toxic rhetoric is given safe harbor? Is hate speech and other forms of bigoted rhetoric acceptable in a place where minors as young as 13 have access? You have the choice in front of you. One choice you have is to do the right thing and remove despicable content like this along with the other garbage being posted recently. The other choice is to allow such content to continue and watch as user numbers continue to decline and the number of VIP purchases fall off. The choice between right and wrong is yours, but rest assured if you choose to be on the wrong side of a moral argument then that will be all anyone will ever remember about you.

We make fun of bread constantly for being fat, but he makes fun of others so I’m conflicted.

This one does seem a bit trollish, but its not targetting anyone specifically not to mention that Obese people actually are not a protected group (in relation to Hate speech) https://www.chat-avenue.com/tos.html

Not every "debate " needs to be a serious one (according to this forum's rules) why not just have some fun, or just iggy it?

Fat shaming no. You shouldn't shame someone for that kind of thing.

If you a really concerned about someone, there are ways of telling them to maybe look after themselves a bit better rather than go straight to shaming.

Being a **** will just make people feel worse about themselves, and since this is about people who are overweight, they could have an eating disorder, and being a **** could make that disorder worse, rather than help. And some medications can cause people to gain weight, so... being a vile really won't help

Long story short: there are more polite ways to go about it if you truly care. If they don't care to listen/or it's someone outside of your life... let em get on with it.

(Edit: obviously if it's in a joking way with someone who knows it's so, that's fine... just obviously don't assume everyone will take it that way)

I mean, this is just my opinion but it may set some context as to why I further asked this question - I didn't just post it to cause trouble.

I have always been a big guy since I was a kid, eating the wrong things and the wrong amounts. I don't blame my parents for that though. Anyway, I was about 350lbs going through school at the age of about 16.

The reason why I ask if fat shaming is a good thing is because it has helped me in my experience - people pointing out my weight and making fun of it. This pushed me to get a gym membership where I then began to lose the weight to make myself feel better.

The more weight I lost, the more better I felt.
All of this came from people pointing out my weight.
Along with some of the comments I received.

Edit: as for eating disorders, they don't exist. If a fat guy like me can eat that much food and do so little - surely I would have a disorder right? Clearly not. Since I made that change so easily.
