Happy 1 year anniversary of administrating kids chat avenue Arkham!
I can't believe it's been this long since you've been hired in place of Warden, and when you were hired, you've done a great job shining a light on kids chat after it was left in the depths of darkness before May 21st 2019. Now it's May 21st 2020, you have a successful 8-mod team, and kids chat is doing much better than it was before you became admin with the various mods you have hired in the past (besides noahbi14), present, and future. Fired, quit, or still a mod today, we all have made a difference to kids chat, no matter what it was, because of your advice, guidance, and leadership that you've successfully given each and every mod you've hired so far.
Modding for you has been amazing this past year. You did some pretty nice things for mods and users upon your first day as admin. For mods, you introduced the staff room, which is a much more convenient way to send and handle reports through sending screenshots in the staff room of proof that rule breakers are doing what they're doing. For users, you made the roleplay room because you understand that we live in an age where people would use their imaginations for online roleplay. Even though no one uses it much, I still tell users to go in there if they wanna rp so your addition of the roleplay room doesn't go to waste. ^-^
I was hired on June 9th of last year. I was super excited to be finally modding, especially after i made a promise to the mods of classic kids chat back then that i'd keep the modern version safe whenever i got hired, and I am. I tried my hardest to keep kids chat safe, back then and even doing it now. You work very long hours, idk how you can even do that, and i'm sure no other admin would do that. But remember, you should take a break whenever you feel the need to, especially since you usually would tell us that you need a break. That's what you told me when i was forcing myself to mod for long hours back then. I fixed that (kinda), and now look at me. You've changed me for the better, and I thank you so much for that advice!
During my 11 months of modding, I always tried to perfect my modding style. Even though stress is what holds me back, and always will hold me back from being the 'perfect mod', your guidance and advice helped me become a better mod, and I'm so grateful to be a mod for an admin who truly cares about his mods, and doing whatever it takes to guide us through whenever we need help, especially with the new kick protocol that was confusing at first for all of us for example. You simplified it for all of us and made it 100% understandable once you found a way to simplify it. That's one of the many things that makes you a great admin, along with some great qualities you have like your personality, amazing sense of humor, and even your love for batman as batman is one of the better DC superheroes in my personal opinion. xD There are much more i can list, but that would take a good while to type out. haha
What you are though is a great leader, and you have many characteristics of a great leader such as having goals made and set for mods, like getting rid of the pedos or ip rollers/vpn users by kicking them out over and over again until they give up eventually. Another thing a great leader has is charisma, and you have that as well. You're well liked and wanted to be around by people because of how you are as a person. The people who hate you just don't know what its like or understand what its like to run a chatroom. And lastly, you also have Empathy. You been through modding before in the past, so you can see and understand what it's like being in our shoes as mods as we deal with a lot of trolls and stressful periods of time during our days of modding. o.o
In conclusion, you've made me feel like I belong in kids chat. You've made me feel like I've been actually useful to help out, and that i can make a difference to kids chat. I couldn't thank you enough for everything you've done to help me and the rest of us mods get through the tougher/stressful times we've had on chat, and for helping kids chat in the past year to getting back on its feet from where it was left off before May 21st 2019. My respect for you is everlasting. I know I've said this before, and I really meant it when i said it. You're the best, and you're really the only admin I could ever see myself working for. I'd literally quit modding kids chat if you had to resign. I just wouldn't be able to mod knowing you resigned, and that I'm not working for you anymore. I refuse to work for anyone else, and nothing can change my mind, nor will. You're the greatest inspiration, role model, and leader that anyone would love to work for. Never let anyone else say otherwise!
Happy 1 year anniversary! - Ophelia
