Opinions on turning negative destructive thoughts into positive constructive thoughts?

When I used to go to therapy I learned a good technique about making myself feel better about myself.

Every morning wake up and look in the mirror, tell yourself one good thing about yourself. “My hair looks good today” “My eye color is nice” etc etc. it takes around 21 days to make a positive path in your brain so your self confidence will go up! 🤪
Affirmations are wonderful.

Honestly saying destructive thoughts come to me always when I am bored or when I spend too much time on social media. But that doesn't happen too often anymore. Since I started my own digital business and started traveling the world, I became much more positive person and have weird thoughts only rear. With the help of Zoom 10DLC , my laptop and good internet connection I can work even from the beach if I want, which makes my life kinda beautiful.

The things you think about determine the quality of your mind. Your soul takes on the color of your thoughts.

Marcus Aurelius

To turn negative thoughts into positive ones, first, catch the thought when it appears and give it a humorous label. Then, challenge its validity by asking if it's really true or useful. Reframe the thought into something more constructive or at least neutral. And remember to shift your focus towards gratitude, finding little things each day that you can appreciate.

Also. Whether your cup is half empty or half full. It’s the same cup. Its perspective. It’s the easiest (and also sometimes the hardest) thing to do.
