politics rule in girls chat

I enjoy politics and am an avid student of world politics an history, but it is awful in a chat setting. Few know how to debate with no emotion and few are willing to steel man their own arguement in order to understand the others opinion. So many end up putting you on one side or another and usually base it on USA politics.

Few if any have really studied the topics and have just given them a fleeting look based on what the TV says or some other ill advised source.
Wonderfully said. I agree.

I never got into politics until I came to Chat Avenue and started finding myself reading things, from the WSJ to The Rolling Stone, New York Times and even Breitbart or Newsmax to get a better understanding of both sides.

Of course, I’m smart enough at least to understand a lot of things that you read on these news sites are one person’s take on a particular situation, and what they see can be skewed by rose-coloured glasses.

Both sides of politics push their own narrative and agenda on every happening, from wars to economic crises and climate.

Here in Australia we have leftist media like AAP, Seven & Ten Networks, along with right-wing outlets like Sky News and Fox News Australia, Daily Mail, News.com.au and Nine News.

To be honest, many of the real crazies Down Under also follow extreme left-wing media like CNN and msnbc and the extreme right-wingers follow OAN, Breitbart and Newsmax, as some of our readers/followers feel the other side of politics has infiltrated their side, e.g. the left vs the right and the right vs the left.

I’ve never really taken a side with most things, but I do find DJT, JDV, RFK, et al to be a little bit on the extreme side, with even WSJ saying they plan on spending upwards of $1 Trillion on mass deportation of possibly more than 20 million illegal immigrants and even asylum seekers.

Considering both the USA and Australia are countries founded on stolen land (and let’s not kid ourselves, it was stolen from the natives), we sure take a lot of liberties with it.

What ever happened to the words of the beautiful sonnet penned by Emma Lazarus, which contains some of the deepest fundamental beliefs of the USA; “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free” inscribed at the bottom of your Statue of Liberty? Or does that only entail people of a certain creed, skin tone and heritage?

Excuse my sudden outpouring of political rage. Just, in the face of the current situation, we need to remember to not be afraid to consider both sides of the political spectrum.

Most news outlets you quoted there are legacy media and wont be here much longer, they certainly don't have the reach now nor do they seem to have a finger on the pulse of what real people are thinking nor do they do real journalism. Most of what i see on these outlets are total bs.
There are some great independent journalists out there who will report the truths they find even if it hurts the side of politics they support. Why? because they are truth seekers and understand the average person is not stupid.

As far as Australia media goes I am yet to find any that satisfies my thirst for truth, there is a more right leaning one that's ok but they are not the sort to report on things hurting their side so I tend to avoid them most of the time except on certain issues.

Some of the new media out there still use legacy media as their source, the just put their own perspective on it.

I find it hard to believe a lot of news out there now, be it legacy, mainstream or new media. They all have their pros and cons, all get their facts wrong and all have their own agenda.

Even if you believe the independent media is doing it for the right reasons, they can still be corrupted and biased, based on what they’ve been taught or experienced in their lives.

Never believe any source blindly look at all stories from different angles then let your instincts seek the answer. That way you will get as close to the truth as possible. That's how I seek my answers and invariably it turns out my answers are very close to the truth that eventually comes out.

Your teeth are political. Are you in the ginseng tea club, coffee club, pepsi, cocacola, dr pepper or the monster energy drink club?

That’s why I read a multitude of articles across multiple platforms and still look at legacy media to get as many views as possible before forming my own opinion based on the mean average of what I read.
Theres a lot of good podcasts out there, influencers like Dean Withers and content on Pinterest that all help me form my political views.
