I broke my right hand on New Year's eve, well not broke, fractured is more like it. So My posting size will be cut down a bit when I actually do post.

I'd hate to do that, because this is a somewhat 'ground breaking' role play, least for this site, and it would be a backwards step...but I just think it may be too advanced or hard to understand or follow up for many of the casual posters.

I think, in fairness, maybe it could be put to a vote. If anything, maybe it can be altered some, to make it less difficult.

Atm, I'm working on another RP idea, kind of like 'Destroy All Humans' meets 'Red Dead Revolver' type of scenario. I think that may be more interesting, maybe, for the posters, rather than the Declain RP thread, which is based in fairy tale times.

Yeah, and the Declain type of story is overdone in this forum. We've already got three of the similar type, which was why I thought this new interactive, grow with the story thing would bring some freshness to it all.

So I agree with you, let's not do away with it. I think some feedback from the other posters would be good.
 
I think we should keep it. If you think about it, its still like the same old rp thread type just you have different stats and stuff. It wouldn't kill us to reach another level of rp'n. Also I think we should try it out before we rule it out as being too difficult. If we start it or whatever, and it is diffiicult then you guys should try to fix it.
 
Yes, I think we should give it a try, definitely. I was going to post my character sheet in it yesterday but we had a little interbutt troubles and so I played Fable II instead. Dear God how I played it.

But I definitely, definitely like this idea. Taking it to a whole new level. I'mma be reading through the rules and the likes to make sure I know what the hell I'm doing setting my character up, then it should be pretty awesome.

Frosty, I commend you, but then again, I dont think it should be made any one person's responsibility to do that, you know? Its hard work.

But I wont lie, that atm, I am having Missy-FB help design a poster for my newest RP thread idea, like I mentioned before, a sorta "Destroy All Humans" meets "Red Dead Revolver". War of The Worlds meets The Wild, Wild West so to speak.
 
You know I just had one hell of an idea.

Since I'm working on a new roleplay, I thought of something unique to this forum. Why dont we have a contest, where each one of us come up with an idea for an RP, and then we present them, and we all take a vote on whats the most interesting/creative one of the bunch and take a run at it?

Kinda the same process Hollywood works, or national television companies, even vide game corproations, getting pitched ideas, even if they are basic sypnoses, and giving the thumbs up or down on them.

Maybe we can do a contest, much like the Literature forum does with the 'Poet of The Week', we'll have an RP of The Week, as well as the RP idea of the month, like I suggested above.

I think it's a good idea. RP of the week might be a little much as with poetry it's just one piece, but an RP is a whole ongoing thing and we don't want to get in too over our heads. Too many might cause a quantity over quality dilemma. However it's a very interesting idea, and one no doubt we can make work. The RP of the month would definitely be a winner and keep things fresh without being overwhelming.

I'm just about to post in Declain, The Forgotten Realm too. I'll edit my previous post to my character sheet and then make a post.
Your other idea sounds wicked-awesome also.

Alrighty guys I know its been a while, or seems like it anyway, but I'm writing all my posts on paper during the boring classes and stuff so when I get home its easier for me and I don't get writers block. My posts should be up tommorow, but I'm moving so Idk right about now. But I'm trying my hardest to get here and post at least once a week as promised.

Propaganda does sound like a good idea. I dunno. Literature forum seems a good place to go but it's a bit chaotic and full of drama at the moment and we'd only be encouraging trolls too, and that's the last thing we need.

I think Nolre's mom finally managed to sell his virus-filled computer though. He was going to be posting in the Story of the Week contest over in Lit. and when he ran a little late I left a message on his profile to which I got no answer. So I proceeded to send him a couple of emails on MSN. He never replied to them either.

I think I can now, sadly, start my "Waiting For Yoseph" weekly/monthly blog posts of how I'm doing without him and how him not being here negatively affects us all.

Anyway, either way with continuing with the original character or creating another one it's cool, whatever suits you best. :D

Party travel. I didn't know what else to call it. When you have nothing to do and someoene suggests you take a trip instead of just flying because you have nothing better to do, so you go on this trip and do a whole bunch of random things and spend a lot of money. Roadtrips have a purpose...

ALso... Hai you guiz. MIssed you.

I spoke to yoey last night. He tells me three things have happened to him.
1. He started a punk band.
2. He started skating.
3. He got stabbed.

Also, we came to the conclusion that a man without a water gun is a dead man on the streets.

I couldn't believe as I randomly scrolled through my pictures that I found that image. The signature that had been made for dearest Yoseph and that had been too beautiful to not save.

It was what prompted me to write it actually. It was so fitting. "And so silence befell the land."

So I think it is time to tell you guys why I go away so often.

Lately, I have been trying to graduate early instead of waiting to graduate with my class. The reason for this is so I can ship out to boot camp faster and get on with my life. Though, I just figured out today, that the earliest I can leave for boot is June 15, the coincidence, that was my original ship date. So I did all that studying and working for nothing. Anyways, prepare to see more of me.
