…against the rules to register / steal another user’s former username, after having changed it to something else???

hello friends, 🙋🏼‍♀️

dolla here with a brand new poll, a poll about principle, a poll about usernames on a chatroom community…

lots of controversy about the topic, so im bringing it to the floor to see what everyone else thinks about it; if u change your username, should it be against the rules for someone else to register, & use, or does it become fair grounds for being used after the fact it was changed???

i think once u change your name, it becomes open for anyone else to use; but what do i know??? im just an angel 🤷🏼‍♀️

Should not be against the rules, it's ridiculous to make a rule that someone cannot use a previous username that someone has used. If the said person wanted the username back, simply PM the one who has it at the moment and they can talk, would or wouldn't work, it's not the fault of the person who has the username.

its a 6 month old silly drama that's been regurgitated, by the queen of the
banned - so that people can strut about, crowing about injustice, - over actions not being taken, based on rules not being applied, in relation to a user who wasn't banned for any of this which naturally culminated with

the anticlimax - the odd comparisons of disputed account name pilfering being likened to Saddam Hussein invading Kuwait.

In fairness to you, you did offer to return the name. Its unfortunate that there was a 30 day barrier that no one could undo. I respected the fact you offered , because I think you saw how upset people became, (an honourable side of you not eveyone gets to see here) Also unfortunate you did literally trumpet why you took the name.

That was all being sorted, if you remember-but a secondary argument erupted in EE so then you doubled down saying you would prefer to be banned, and the other users name would never be returned. 🤷‍♂️

(This poll wasn't needed, all it did was revive a silly drama most everyone had moved on and learned from and caused un needed debate and words that are hard to take back l Lets not lose sight of that and move forward.)
