Bianca’s daughter in eastenders singing that firestarter song in the Queen Vic was hilarious. He scared me as a kid appreciated him more as an early teen but not really my genre of music.

So since 2020? 😉

The last time I watched it was on the 30th anniversary so 2015 when Lucy’s killer was revealed. Properly watched it but I just eventually grew out of soaps. They stopped being humorous when everything started getting watered down to pander to the brigade who need mollycoddling.

I’d rather watch Are You Being Served? nowadays.

🤣 🤭 I wish 2020! Yes I grew out of ours as well with Neighbours (which thankfully has ended) and home and away which is so much pandering now to the soft cocks its redoncluas - long live reality and sense which is hard to find these days.

Like on another thread one of the mighty (well word above) is baiting a user and thinking its all wonderful and funny - the person has the personality of a jizz mop TBF!

NGL Home and away was ace late 90’s to about 2009 for me. I actually knew a woman who was the exact same as Colleen smart when I was a teenager and now I’ve reminded myself of her, I’m irked 🤨😂
Neighbours was my sisters’ thing naturally they all fancied Jason Donovan. Nowadays everything is just sexualised far too much and obviously the obnoxious cretins of society get picked to ragebait for views.

Talking of Aussie shows I’m psyched about the wentworth halfway house!! Loved wentworth prison fantastic acting and storylines

I watched an episode of Ghost Adventures last night that was the most disturbing episode I've ever seen. They went to Hollydale insane asylum. There was demonic presence, they found two sacrificed baby goats and a chicken. Then Aaron Goodwin got this phone call
His wife was arrested for plotting a murder for hire against him.

The guy who jumped in the enclosure was severely autistic. He got away from his parents, got in and tried using sign language on the tiger. He yelled "no, stop!" and was immediately killed. He wasnt a drunk or jackass looking for attention, he obviously didnt understand the danger he was in. The incident is really sad.

He was severely autistic and probably had the mentality of a ten year old. In this case, yes, autism is an excuse, because it explains why he didnt sense the danger. He wasnt a normal functioning adult, thats why his parents were still his care givers.

I can see both sides of this scenerio - my nephew is severely autistic, down syndrome and learning difficulties - he is 14 and has the mental capacity of about 4 - he understands getting in a with a tiger will kill him and would he do it? probally as he does not realise the consequences of death.

I would have not shot the tiger as this is an innocent animal who was only doing what it is on this planet for - maybe shoot the parents who were supposed to be supervising him at all times or better still not take him somewhere where its a danger to him.

Before we get all the disability advocates jumping down my throat, some places are not safe for the disabled this is not discimatory this is common sense. My sister certainly would not take my nephew to a place she is unable to completely supervise him or contain ( not tying him up, but he has a compulsion to run) to ensure his safety, this is being a good parent/caregiver etc.

For example if we go on holidays we have to stay in air b &b for the home environment - has to be with high fully fenced yard with dead locks on the doors to ensure his safety as he is in unfamiliar environment and will wander off trying to find his home. So we do this especially overnight if he wakes to keep him safe.

I have no idea why there were so many different reports, but he wasnt with his parents. He definitely had something wrong with him, but so does anyone who goes into these enclosures. Often its people who are suicidal. If youre going to be selfish and take your own life, dont involve others. I still feel bad for anyone who is that far gone and in a dark place that they end up doing things like that, I feel even worse for this man, because he obviously thought the tiger would be friendly.

Thankfully, they didnt kill the tiger, but so many people are insulting the guy, acting like he was a normal functioning adult that was just "playing stupid games". Insta has shown me that there are so many in society that are desensitized and lack empathy.

I worked developmental disabilities for 20 years and as such I am a disability advocate but I fully agree some places are not safe especially with children or adults with autism. When I moved to mental health I had several clients with autism, actually I still do. I am one of those responsible for the increasing numbers of autism diagnosis in the U.S. as I have diagnosed quite a few.

I do work in mental health Luka, I would trust a schizophrenic more than a methed out hick. Not all people with psychological illnesses are dangerous. I hate how mocking the mentally challenged/Ill and treating them like sub humans is being normalized again. Social media has made many people desensitized to having compassion and empathy. The guy wasnt violent, he obviously had a schizophrenic episode. His family and friends said he was a caring and loving individual that suffered mental illness. No where did he exhibit any violence, and like I said , only 10-15% of schizophrenics display acts of violence. Youre just perpetuating a harmful stereotype.

I agree, this guy clearly had some deep-seated issues. Reports suggest he was also a child actor, and who knows whether the pressures of performing and growing up in the public eye contributed to stressors that manifested later in life. Obviously, we can’t know the full story, but it’s worth considering the potential influences without excusing his actions.

I also think people are increasingly losing the ability to form their own opinions and think critically about what they’re exposed to. We see violence constantly portrayed in games, movies and across social media, and while that doesn’t automatically lead to real-world violence, I do wonder whether repeated exposure can desensitise some people over time. The concerning part is when people start thinking, “Well, others have done it, so why can’t I?” rather than stopping to consider the consequences and forming their own moral judgement.
