It depends on weather conditions but I may be off to Chamonix again for a wee bit of climbing

No

Of course not! Go to Orkney or Shetland in midsummer and it barely gets dark. It's called the simmer dim there

Nope I think it'd make zero difference to the majority of folk. Total daylight hours would be the same just shifted by an hour.

Yes but not too far down. I'd like it to still be light. Couldn't be doing with it being completely dark looking out those little windows

For a limited time quite easily. I have plenty of things I can do that don't need power and we have plenty of gas lanterns to provide light.

Yes. I’d love to live without any mod cons for a while, like a detox

Sadly not 🙁 I looked at solar panels for the house but they’re so expensive it would take years to break even. I should have got them when they offered the feed in tariff

If they're serious about dealing with climate change then yes, absolutely and as long as they subsidise appropriate technology for the setting as well rather than a one size fits all solution that only works for some settings. Microgeneration could lift a massive load off of the grid.

Yes. I do a lot of walking but break out my bike for longer distances, the train where it works for me, or get someone to give me a lift if it doesn't.

No. I’d be bankrupt if I did. I also forgot about bikes as transport.

No. Or any of the nut milks. Just give me coo juice every time. (I'd miss that most on a vegan diet)

Yes. Depends on what I'm doing. If I'm hillwalking or climbing then a big breakfast to set me up for the day.
