These are some things I believed in when I was a kid (and the approximate age I stopped believing)
- Early morning fog was actually a bunch of clouds that were having a 'lie in' and hadn’t gone back up to the sky yet (12)
see below
- You could walk on clouds, should you wish too (12)
- We had a 'cloud' lesson at school, completely changed my life!!
- The world used to be in black and white (10) -
Although I'm still half convinced that it really was, the past just doesn’t seem 'right' in colour.
- People on TV could see me! (7) -
I just kinda realised they couldn't
- People who lived in a Bungalow, had to sleep in their living rooms on pull out beds, like a caravan, as there was no upstairs for bedrooms (6)-
the age I moved into a bungalow
- I used to think my Dad was famous and everyone knew him and he was the best at everything. (5)
This imagery just started to dwindle through the course of time
- I used to think that if I prayed for something, like a drum kit, or a bike, it would be there in the morning (5) -
Too much praying, not enough receiving, I just give it up
- Like 'R-Kelly', I used to believe I could fly, until a number of fruitless efforts made me re-evaluate the situation (10) -
No of sprained bones (unlimited) / No of successful flights (Zero)
- I used to think if you recited the lords prayer backwards whilst looking in the mirror, an image of the devil would appear
.
Actually, I was too scared to test out the theory, maybe it's true.
