I follow Hockey, it's one of my fav most sports but let it be played on turf/ ice only it looks much better there...

Pretty much this. If a game's story is garbage, then it doesn't matter what else it has to bring to the table.

Seen the demo of Dead Space 3, the game looks pretty damn good from what I can tell. One game I'm buying for sure next month.
