Drink
Ginger ale is a carbonated soft drink flavoured with ginger. It is drunk on its own or used as a mixer, often with spirit-based drinks. There are two main types of ginger ale. The golden style is credited to the Irish doctor, Thomas Joseph Cantrell. The dry style, a paler drink with a much milder ginger flavour, was created by Canadian John McLaughlin.

Ginger ale can be harmful in excess, but it is generally a healthier alternative to other soft drinks and can even carry some health benefits.
In many countries especially in Europe, people drink ginger ale to reduce nausea, abdominal pain, or upset stomach. Ginger is one of primary ingredients used on traditional cold medicines, antiemetic drugs, and analgesic *****s. Ginger is good for people who suffer from coldness and helps
reduce stress.
If the
sugar
is the only problem, is diet
ginger ale good
for you? While there are unique
ginger ale
benefits, it still falls into the category soft drinks. The
good
thing is that
ginger ale
is considered to be one of the healthier soft drinks compared to colas because it does not contain as many unhealthy ingredients as other sodas do.

Sacrificing my morning mocha double shot for green tea as my diet ramps up! God please help me!

On my 2nd coffee of the morning. Already brain dead having done a couple hours of work and desperately trying to avoid going back to bed!

Having my pre-game coffee. Won't be my last either. Almost 10:30pm here. Decided I'm pulling an all-nighter!

literally no one gives a **** how much coffee you drink

Having a Berocca for that extra kick of energy! Also took a couple of iBuprofen as my eyes & head hurt. Can't wait to crash tonight!

I attempted to make my own Starbucks drink. Black coffee, vanilla almond milk, caramel protein, dash of cinnamon and ice blended. Pretty delicious.

Sounds delish! The only thing missing for my taste buds is a heaped teaspoon of drinking chocolate. I'm a mocha guy!

I think next time I'm going to add a little cacao and see how it tastes. I'm not much of a chocolate person but I'm trying to experiment with my protein drinks lol.

Bought a big bottle of Sobeski vodka for making elderflower, elderberry, blackberry, etc. infusions. You could call it Schnapps. Picked up a single bottle of Fever Tree premium ginger beer and a lime to make a Moscow mule because I wanted to try the ginger beer. It sounded good. Tried Gosling ginger beer last time. I just wanted to compare.

After cutting the grass today I had a Sierra Nevada Summerfest Czech style Pilsner beer. I prefer German style Pilsener but could not find SN Nooner pils. Sam Adams Czech style Noble Pils is also good. Pilsner is a nice summer beer. Also helles lager & hefeweizen. Sierra Nevada Kellerweiss is good but I have trouble finding it too.

Founders Centennial IPA. It is a bargain and pretty good. Not my favorite but pretty good. Best when fresh and it is! I would call it extra IPA at 7%. Picked up some 10 yr. old tawny Port on sale for 40% off had to jump on that for after dinners. I seek out the bargains but beware of bargain beer. Check the dates.

About the Fever Tree Premium ginger beer for mixing drinks.... That stuff was amazing. It outclassed the vodka for sure. The larger single bottles may be a better buy than a six pack.

Grape juice. Every time I drink grape juice it reminds me of having my tonsils removed at age 7 (all I could eat/drink for several days was grape juice and ice cream).

Yesterday I finally bought a couple cans of Angry Orchard hard apple cider. I like hard cider and had wanted to try AO for awhile. It was awful. Couldn't even finish the can. It basically tasted like apple-flavored beer. So much for that.

Fixed my lawn mower then had a German Pilsner beer. Can't wait for Oktoberfest beers. It's almost time for them to hit the store shelves.

This year's Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest collaboration is with Bitburger. One of my favorite American Oktoberfest beers is Left Hand's Oktoberfest. They should be available sometime this month.

I am not drinking anything at the moment but after some experimenting I found a couple of wine ****tails that would be excellent for the holidays. Simple and easy. Cognac and Port for an after dinner drink and St. Germain elderflower liqueur plus prosecco. Something like Hennesy VS cognac would work. Warre's 10 yr.old tawny Port was the best I've tried so far but I bought it on sale cheap. Lamarca prosecco works very well with the elderflower liqueur.

Warsteiner Oktoberfest " Munich type" lager. Had an odd taste like nutmeg or something. Marking this one off my list. Decent but odd.

Had Spaten Oktoberfest. It is in a green bottle so I dug out the sixpack at the bottom in the center so it would have less of a chance to have become lightstruck (skunked). Very slightly skunked but still pretty good. Also tried Great Lakes Oktoberfest and had some Greal Lakes Vienna lager recently.

Alagash White Belgian style wit ale. Had to try it because I may not see it again. I was after Oktoberfest beer so I got a sixer of Hacker Pshcorr also. I intended to buy Fundador Exvlusivo gran solera reserva brandy de jerez and Sandeman Founders reserve Port to mix with it but that will have to wait.
