when are we as a society going to stop labelling a woman's body as inappropriate?

So I had this pfp on general chat for like 4 days. The pfp depicts the shape of my body (my cleavage, my hips). Parts of the female body predominantly viewed as sensual and inevitably sexualised/objectified by men... at least that's what I thought. But it seems certain women subconsciously conform to this ideology as well, because when Ken saw my pfp she immediately associated it with being "inappropriate". Which validates my argument that the stigmatisation of women's bodies is a social issue and not just a misogynystic ideology curated by men.

Women showing skin or cleavage is not inherently inappropriate. The human body is a natural and beautiful thing, and women should be able to present themselves in a way that makes them feel confident and comfortable without fear of judgment or objectification.

The notion that women's bodies are inherently sexual or provocative is a harmful social construct that perpetuates gender-based double standards. Men are often able to show skin without being sexualized or judged, yet women are held to a different standard.

Moreover, the amount of skin a woman shows does not determine her innate character, intelligence, or worth. Women should be able to make their own choices about their bodies and presentation without being shamed or policed.

The notion that a woman's bodily exposure is inherently inappropriate is a reprehensible and outdated concept that warrants dismantling.

With all due respect to the admin/ mod team in the room and for all teams in all rooms... The adult chat room looks to me like a bunch of "horn bots" fighting over who is going to send more nudes. lol

Sorry for this, I really respect peoples choice of rooms but the room is just not for me.
No offense taken. It’s definitely not for everyone 🙂

That said, the room rules here need to be followed and more to your point, applied equally to all chattters. I think the staff here try their best to do that and if they aren’t then it’s ok to appropriately point it out.

firstly, thank you for being civil and not attempting to turn this into a joke like @Murky ★ and other users.

this thread was not intended to be a complaint but more of an elaboration on why i personally believe the way women's bodies are perceived and policed compared to men's is rooted in misogyny. my profile picture was not nudity, it revealed my cleavage and hips. that was all.

i do however think Ken's kick was rather arbitrary as no other mod has kicked me beforehand for said profile picture. Jose had no issue until Ken took an issue... partners in crime type thing.

What does the consequences to your actions have to do with another chatter? 💀 I’m not arguing so go cry to HR
I have no intention of explaining any further. you're aware and I'm aware of what I meant. no need to divulge any further for your own sake.

many people might agree with you- in the real world. But in Chat, the mods might see a depiction of a female (or male body) to be a bit much for a 13+ mixed chat.

Also, no one in the world prob want to see wylds groin pic and that battle has been fought for years here-so far so good.

That is a lucid, intelligent, well thought-out objection. Overruled.

The staff across CA do what they can to keep people safe online.

I don’t envy those that work 13+ rooms particularly where there are suggestive things on profiles including images. This thread https://forum.chat-avenue.com/threads/i-got-banned-for-multiple-violations.951396/ is a recent example of something similar to what you’ve raised and that person got a ban for it although it was later reversed.

It’s all about getting the balance right between protecting freedom of expression and protecting minors in a mixed age chat
