Stfu, no one was talking to you, and you're opinion doesn't matter in this thread.Something is very suspect about how Akrta refers to Puff. Much can be said on that. Edit; never mind it’s daddy issues

It is not that at all, ever consider he could be hiding part of the truth from you? I mean saying that you need to attend to your studies is a wise thing but you need to also consider he may not be stating all of the reasons? You are naive but you were being used. You are not the only one that ever has been used. Your function was to defend HR more than just making sure GC was a safe haven.Haha, you just never heard of a caring Admin before lol
I have a close friend of @Samwise saying that my studies was the reason.I mean saying that you need to attend to your studies is a wise thing but you need to also consider he may not be stating all of the reasons?

Thank youhttps://forum.chat-avenue.com/threads/relief-mods.944104/page-2#post-1138465 <---This sums it up astutely- If any more off topic posts or collateral attacks appear and have to be moved- the thread will be closed.
Relief mods are just as useless as regular modsNot sure how that was allowed. Making users prove their worth or more at loyalty in order to become real mods. I think if a chatter is made a relief mod it should be for a defined period of time after which they are made full mods or in lieu of that lose their relief mod status. I know most admins here have good hearts and mean well maybe except one.
Not me, I did my job perfectly, I didn't have no personal grudges, didn't fight with nobody, gave 3-4 warnings before I muted people (I rarely kicked anybody, I think that's why I'm favorite able, by @Samwise mods)Relief mods are just as useless as regular mods
I would argue they are more useless, I mean not given their pretty colors, the only reason to mod is to appear cool and kick out people you don't like. I mean if an admin is going to have a user do that they did to full mod them at least after a few weeks.Relief mods are just as useless as regular mods
Haha, only Admins make the decision of who gets mod, and relief mods are people that fill in for site mods, re: as @Samwise said....i say keep it simple. If someone has the right stuff and there’s a spot open, the moderators put their name forward. If not then they don’t and that’s the end of the story.
Moderators and admins have enough on their plates without having to juggle the names and behaviors of 30 or so potential applicants who just want to kick trolls and mute people they don’t like which are probably 98% of the applicants anyway.
So, yeah. @Awesine_Jason what @Samwise saidIts 4 -12 weeks depending on how much time they get in room. Most go on to staff mod positions -if those are full they can go on a list, and may be assigned for limited duration while a staff mod is on vacation for example.
It is 4-12 weeks so when they do become staff mods- they are very well trained by the solid crew at General Chat- which is the whole point of the program. It is easily managed, has been implemented for about 2 years in our room.
Similar approaches are common in the workforce or real life volunteer organizations- including other rooms on this site. It has worked out well but does take some time and effort. And it has worked well enough that I have other rooms often asking me if we know of good mod candidates etc
(edit: if it makes anyone feel better, you could use the term "probationary" instead of relief) 🙂
