Sammy settle your heels young man. Part of the relief mod discussion is appropriate length of apprentishship needed before given full mod colors. Is there a specific time or does it depend on the person and 3 months seem a bit long.

Getting back on topic. The process for selecting, offering a position to, training, etc new moderators is decided on and completed by the staff here. That process has nothing to do with you, unless you are one selected. Having a probationary period makes sense from the perspective of the site but also the new moderator. How long that period is, again, has nothing to do with you. Chatmaster has made it clear that staff business shouldn’t be handled in public.
This topic seems to be a veiled (not so veiled) complaint against a certain admin. If you have an issue with them, work it out like adults and move on. Js
Or at least limit guest accounts from being able to post. Guest account violations make up the majority of all violations, at least in AC.

Newly Registered accounts CAN be muted for up to 15 minutes.
BUT the owners focus is elsewhere

Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure this could be circumvented by bots anyway by just putting in a wait time of 15 mins before the bot starts botting. And the persistent troll and perv will probably just wait too. Eventually, they will adapt and it just makes real ******** get bored and go elsewhere. It’s a case of damned if you do, dammed if you don’t.
Are you talking the new registration mute option? That would be nice

Well, both really. I find mute can be a little more effective on flooders, as it can be a bit harder to shake than a simple IP roll sometimes. Problem is, they often have multiple guest accounts logged in under multiple IPs before the poopie hits the oscillating blades and the flood fest begins.

Absolutely it could, but it is a deterrent as well, it would curb the spammers and bots and would restore the bigger rooms to something that resemble chatrooms rather than wh0re houses.
AND it is done elsewhere, and that elsewhere is where some of the potential VIP ******** have gone.

If there was a way to get rid of the bots then it would make your job easier and also a chatting experience more enjoyable. I use to hate to deal with ******** who were upset and had VPNS. They would keep coming back. In the old days we could range IP ban.
Only chatmaster can do ip bans, or I should say anyone with superadmin rank or higher can do that. I been a admin before (and I know admin can't do it). But that's all I'm saying.

I once tried to kick every single chatter from adult chat years ago. I was bored tired of modding but I will tell you kicking a whole room is not as easy as it sounds.

I'm not demanding anything for thing luv get your facts straight .
I am expressing MY OPINION that having "relief mods" is utter b/s and having that carrot dangled in front of you week after week is out and out controlling behaviour by Admin.
I do also think you need to take those rose coloured glasses off and see things for what they really are .
