Technically wrong, if chatave is allowing it they will be held liable. In one case one e commerce company was sued for selling a bad product and they said in court that they are just a medium, the seller is someone else but the court convicted the ecommerce site and fined them, saying that the ecommerce company is guilty because they allowed it to be sold, they can't escape liability.

I am not saying I am going to sue or anything, but if this continues someone else might one day. But most importantly, when there are so many proofs, chatave themselves should take action and nip it in the bud.

E-commerce is different especially as the mention of convictions suggests there was some criminal issue in the case you’re referring to. I could go on for pages but believe me, there’s no civil claim against the site. It’s like saying you’d sue G00gle for finding the modified cat picture on there.

I know when Luka borrowed Ratkaka formerly known as Akbar's picture he was banned. However I think once a photo is posted in chat avenue then it is public's domain.
Maybe its the OPs cat who knows but if you don't want your photo doxxed then do not post in forums or chat.
I have a similar complaint about chat names. Once I signed in General Chat as HR Puffenduffer and got kicked out without having a request to change my name. But really you can kick people out for parodies of other's names? Would @Inkandtatts kick me out if I signed on G.C as Inkandtitts?

You are a coward, but I have the confidence to call out the wrong both for myself and others. Go at least read what I wrote. Tomorrow someone can steal your pic and create fake profile and tell you that it's just a picture not your whole big head, but even then too cowards like you will have no problem with it. But I have moral integrity which you lack. 😇

No one in here is a coward or a troll. Using someone's photo of themselves is doxxing on this site, you are not a cat. Are you going to switch up your argument and say the photo is you, that you identify as a cat ever seeing Salem on Hocus Pocus and after seeing the best surgeons Japan has to offer, you now transitioned into one?

You are bent out of shape over a picture that isn’t even yours. You’ve now accused approxately 1,876 people of being trolls because they’re all telling you this isn’t a hill worth dying on. Instead you’re doubling down and making yourself look like the problem. I realise constructive criticism can take a toll on the fragile, but honestly it’s time to move on. There are more important things in life than a stock photo of a cat.
