Even when presented with evidence the fool refuses to see. I'm going to bail out on this thread. Someone only wants it open so they can argue.
The real question is does it really matter? What matters to me is how I lead my life...Not how someone else does... I've never felt attraction to the opposite sex, so I could argue I was born this way. I don't recall a moment when I chose to feel this way.
There are times Id rather not be lesbian. Who would choose to be in a minority of people where the pool of potential partners is quite limited? Theres no other gay girls where I live.
Having said that I am not concerned if I was born or developed being lesbian.

I responded (in my own words) to the Biobank/23andme study you cited(evidence). Ironically I used the same journal you used to tell me about 5 gay genes to back up my own responses.
Let me cite my responses. As well as the responses from scientific studies.

When the researchers looked at the overall genetic similarity of individuals who had had a same-sex experience, genetics seemed to account for between 8 and 25 percent of the behavior"

So back to your exerpt,
Your 5 "gay genes" only accounted for as little as 8% to 25% of the gay population.
Much more, those same 5 "gay genes" that were a commonality in homosexuals, were also found amongst heteros.
Genetic Twins, despite having the same genetic code (5 gay genes), somehow develop different sexual orientations.
Religion aside,
the science and evidence cited above strongly suggests that people aren't born gay.
If people were born gay, darwinism(natural selection) would have wiped gays out thousand of years ago since gays can't reproduce.
So if people aren't born gay then how do they become gay? The answer is probably environmental factors outside of their genetics (like Sinning and Satan, grooming, drag story hour, BDSM parades for children, etc)

Environmental factors is not a fill in for social factors and socialization. Seemingly pedantic, but I hate that colloquial use.
Anyways, if you're gonna point to social contagion I'm gonna point to the left handedness.
There was a sharp increase and eventual plateau with people with left handedness. What happened was it became more socially acceptable and schools stopped correcting it.
Because clergymen are the ones that are actually doing it commonly, but you're still going on about gay people. Makes me think you don't actually care about the kids all that much.
I'll admit that image is disgusting - but that's not 99% of gay people. If you wanna make a point against BDSM pride parades involving kids, then go for it, but your current point seems to be against gay people entirely.
