Female UM?

I made a point in another thread that sometimes, people prefer speaking to a particular gender in regards to issues.

Could we consider getting a female UM for this reason?

A woman reporting sexual harassment might not want to deal with a male, for example. On the other foot, a male might not want to speak to a female... or maybe he does want to speak to a female over more sensitive issues that wouldn't be deemed masculine or something. It could also help to have someone see something from another viewpoint.

Not disregarding current UMs (Well, not the majority of them) being approachable or anything. Just think it might be a nice idea to have both a female and a male in a UM position for moments where this might be the case?

Classic H.R. instead of saying what he feels and that is clearly woman is to be subservient to men and never UMs, he comes up with oh wait that is sexist how about Cisgenders, Male to Female, female to male. Typical gaslighting. I think he should not of been allowed to change his vote. Look at the results the only one that did not vote yes was him.

Trans man here - this isn’t discriminatory at all. Dont bring us into the conversation and speak on our behalf when you have no idea.

I’m all for females UM’s, it’ll create a diverse team and those sensitive topics can be approached in a more delicate manner rather than “block them.”

HR has shown how fúcking clueless he is in regards to how the world works, or even how females work. Seriously, are you that against females being an UM? Or is it that you just want to argue for argument sake?

More clueless than you can even imagine. But thank you for saying that.
It needs to be acknowledged. He does not realize the real harm he has done. I truly want to backhand him. Maybe the only time I ever really gotten mad or emotional as to a user or in this case staff.

It could be either one of few options why he’s doing this.

1. He’s realised now that he’s hated universally on the site and trying the whole “inclusive of lgbtqi+” into a topic that doesn’t need to be included in. The op asked for a female UM. HR doesn’t realise that him saying that it is being discriminating against trans and other genders is that he isn’t recognising that trans women are… women. Nice one HR. You’ve fully shot down the lgbtqi because you’re clutching. You’ve just discriminated against us.

2. He is feeling so insecure because of the hate towards him that he feels like including a woman into the mix may push him out because a woman will be asked for instead of his clueless ass taking over.

3. He’s a fúcking muppet tbf.

Lets not forget that
A - Cm won't re- hire former staff that were fired and or are on other sites
B - Any attempt to hire a female , especially one that was a UM before will send certain people crying into CM's Pm's with threats to quit if said female was re-hired
C - @CLEMS0N i wasn't grumpy but you know a person can only put up with TYPING IN ALL CAPS FOR SO LONG AND THE CONTANT BITCHING YOU USED TO DO BEFORE ACTION HAD TO BE TAKEN , you really are ok now though, there said it out loud.

This is typical @H.R. PufnStuf gaslighting behaviour, he only has one agenda and that is to control the narrative himself and to control the forums. The only time anything is ever done with anything he is involved in is when its directly targeted at him and affects him, this is glaring obvious with his behaviour here and also in the room.

He is not mature - he will attack and twist everything to his own agenda then blame the other person and make out they are some evil troll (ie: im a doxxer) because I posted truth against a chatter who was threating to r*** another chatter but im in the wrong.

Prob trusted by the owners as hes so far up their behinds he could brush their teeth.

He does not work as a team - he throws orders and those who do not comply he simply removes them and makes them out to be bitter ex mods trolls etc

I have not once seen him act with an ounce of respect unless that person agrees with his controlling freak ways.

In no part of the OP post did it say or insinuate only female UM's should be voted in - they simply asked on thoughts of having a different gender base for all chatters to be able to relate to someone who then can voice their concerns/complaints etc.

I for one would never trust anything @H.R. PufnStuf was involved in or bring any sort of problem to as he would turn it around, gaslight, lie and cover up (not to mention edit) to look as if he was doing an amazing job and everyone else was a troll or bitter failure.

I say mix up the genders and have someone who all feel comfortable with approaching - as I know 99% of the people in the room or forums do not feel confortable approaching him to resolve or help with an issue - unless that someone was someone who"he" could manipulate/talk down too or control.

Actually, he had an issue with the post because it was created by me, this was his last ditch effort to twist my words and belittle me, and instead it completely backfired as the previous 24 hours had. Only this time he had 30 odd people go against him instead of the usual 5/6 that call out these (pretty standard daily HR) behaviours regularly in the EE forum 🤷🏼‍♀️

CM isn't going to hire @purplerose as much as I wish he would, @Kim won't take it on I don't think (am I wrong?) @TheLeigh is an option but it would be up to her as she already admins 2 rooms, that's a lot of work unpaid if you add forums in... I'm not saying hire any female just to have a token female... I'm saying there should be a fair UM who follows the rules etc. And I think the votes speak for themselves.

For anyone who missed it in this (mostly a **** show) of a thread due to tl;Dr) @Apollo and @Ness_eb both agreed it was a good idea and I've asked them if they'd put it forward to CM ☺️
 
I think the fish UM thread says all that needs to be said about whether the question in this thread is discriminatory at all

I don't think it's a case of me not wanting to take it on again , sure if CM cared to Pm me and ask the question i would consider it carefully, however , im almost 100% sure there would be an uprising against that , i mean , im fair , im transparent, i don't lie , im trustworthy , i call people out on their B/S like it or not , i never deleted/altered threads or posts to gain favour, so after all of that maybe im not the best choice 😉 i'll let you decide.
Would love @purplerose to come back tho.
