I know sex workers personally.
I know women and men who do it. Can it be dangerous, yes, can it be liberating? Also yes. I've seen friends fall on both sides of the scale here.
If people are consensually partaking, are of age, and are of sound mind, then it is nobody else's business. Who anyone chooses to have sex with is a personal choice (as I said, CONSENSUAL, OF AGE) and if they choose to pay for it or charge for it, then who am I to judge them? Some people do O-Fans for the sheer enjoyment of their exhibitionism, some do it to give their children a better school, to buy a better house. My friend escorts because she works three nights a week and pulls in over 3k a month on her regulars alone. She never went to college or university, she enjoys being wined and dined and she's been lucky to find regulars who are "safe" and generous.
I'd actually argue we need safer places for this to happen so we can gain tax, and ensure safety of those involved (testing, drug rehabilitation, security etc). Only fans makes it a little safer in a way, with many choosing never to meet customers, but it isn't where the majority of the help needs to be directed, it's street prostitution and brothels.
So in answer: Live and let live. You do not have the right to judge. Most people are three pay checks away from poverty, so who is to say how far you'll go to keep a roof over your head, or to feed your children.
