My team, Leverkusen, has basically won the league already. It's unlikely that Bayern will win every single remaining game, we would have to lose every remaining game for them to win it. Not only that. we have so far had an unbeaten season. Just one more win, my dream will come true. This will be our first ever league trophy, and what a way to win it with our fantastic defense, overall team quality this season.

The card was pretty awesome! Max and Dustin are both awesome.

I dont know why anyone expected the main even to go any differently. I never saw Hill as a good fighter or a good champ.

Zhang Weili got robbed of a finish though, haha.
That was a fucking crazy knockout.

Fact! I dont even see that as a bad thing for Justin's record either. Takes some guts to accept that challenge. Although maybe even more guts from Halloway seeing as how we was for sure going to win by decision.

Max has somewhat grown on me. When he was champ he was kinda annoying. I don’t doubt that he’s a great person cause he seems super friendly. Overall both had a great bout.

Does anyone follow tennis? My fave of all time is Djokovic 😍 In the up and coming youngsters its Sinner the Italian

Next card should be good. 👍

Both my teams are killing it right now.

Unrelated. How is the fishing near everyone? (Wherever you are located.)

I can't say I'm a HUGE tennis lover but I do like to keep an eye on how the Brits are doing - not very well at the moment, I have to say. But I do think players like Cameron Norrie, Jack Draper, Katie Boulter and even Harriet Dart may improve further in the future. Emma Raducanu? We may have seen the best of her already.

Been watching tennis since I was a pre-teen. I like Norrie more than I do Draper (and actually more than I liked Murray too), looking for good things from him; and as for Raducanu I believe you are correct. My champ Novak is having a rough start to the year so far, finally showing signs of slowing down, but I will support him to the very end. I have yet to find a womens tennis player I loved/supported like I did Steffi Graf.

Thx for your input 🙂

Does Djoko the defending champ and athletic love of my life have a chance of defending his title against the hungry, ambitious up n comers? Or will Nadal be able to show up and make this, what could be the last grand slam win of his illustrious career? In other words...is anyone else excited about the upcoming French Open?

No?? Just me......k

USA making an impressive showing so far in the Cricket World Cup.
Waiting for Canada to show us what she's got.
Fully intend to go see some games live as we the Caribbean are co-hosting.
Rallyyyyy round the West Indiessss 🎵🎤

Wouldnt be the olympics without controversies prior and during. Excerpt taken from the BBc website:

American swimmer Lia Thomas has had a legal case against governing body World Aquatics dismissed by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

World Aquatics (WA) voted in 2022 to stop transgender women from competing in women's elite races if they have gone through any part of the process of male puberty.

Thomas, 25, was the first transgender athlete to win the highest US national college title in March 2022, was attempting to overturn the ban, arguing the rules were discriminatory. Cas first had to determine whether Thomas was eligible to challenge the rules.

World Aquatics praised the ruling and said it is a "major step forward in our efforts to protect women's sport". "World Aquatics is dedicated to fostering an environment that promotes fairness, respect, and equal opportunities for athletes of all genders and we reaffirm this pledge," a statement said.

"Our policies and practices are continuously evaluated to ensure they align with these core values, which led to the introduction of our open category.

"We remain committed to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to uphold the principles of inclusivity in aquatic sports and remain confident that our gender inclusion policy represents a fair approach."

Big, BIG day for some sports enthusiasts tomorrow! Aiiieeeeee

Euro Cup final - Spain vs England - backing Eng all the way
Wimbledon Mens final - basically a rematch from last yrs final, with Djoko hoping to take revenge.
Copa America 2024 - Colombia vs Argentina - hoping Colombia can pull it off

P.S. Haven't watched an entire Wimbledon Women's final in yrs and I think I found a new fave female in Paolini, the little cutie from Italy, who almost won her first grand slam today. Hoping she can take it all the way in the US Open.

As if no Brits mentioned the Euros. Anyway, England lost as usual. Spain won. Nobody got an extra Bank Holiday.

it's never coming home
England is not good enough to win anything, all of their premier league greats for the most part like 92% is Spanish, German, French, Brazilian and many others. English players are ok that's all they will ever be. That's why the teams with the most quality is always full of french or Spanish or German, Brazilian players

The Mens team also medaled for the first time in ages. Biles is a force and will go down as the greatest gymnast in history.
The greatest she is one. If I had to make two Mount Rushmore she would be on the second one in a heartbeat.

Different note Hall of Fame game for Football is this night.

Julien Alfred from Saint Lucia has just won the women's 100m, beating the favourite - USA's Sha'Carri Richardson; this gives her island country their first ever Olympic medal. Yaaaay!

Tomorrow Djoko against Alcaraz (the same bastar..I mean guy who beat him in Wimbledon) for gold medal - would be the first for both.

Both great players I think Alcaraz will get close to Djokovic's record of 24 grand slam titles but he won't equal it. I think he will win about 20 grand slams.

You're absolutely correct, none of the upcoming players as good as they are, will achieve that 24. (hopefully 24+) I really would like Djoko to clinch the gold medal its the one thing his haters, mostly the feral Federer fans, always use against him 🙄

USA basketball gold, it was a tight 3 mins but for Curry's ridiculous 3pt run, the last one of which NO ONE thought he'd make, not even him Im sure. ..a truly audacious shot. I literally got the zoomies after he made it. The best 3pt shooter ever to grace the sport imho.

Did you see closing?

Big heavyweight boxing fight next month Joshua vs Dubois it should be a great fight. Hard to predict who will win.

Why don’t you all just come to my room and talk sports. 🙂😂
I go there all the time and have plenty of conversations... with myself 😛

Edit, I really should have registered ages ago, Ill do that now, and case in point, Im the only one there! We need to make that room one of the more popular ones, sports is a huge topic and with Football starting up next week, it really should be booming in there.

Except not to confuse others like @Luka and others, that by football we mean AMERICAN football not soccer. I agree a sports based chat room is a good concept.
@Creed101 I think that might be an old troll looks like the old lol guy from years back I am also tagging @CreepyNoodles for no other reason than liking the chat name.
