Trump wants

Hey a fun spin on things, since the Constitution of the United States is currently null and void, I think it is a possibility that Donald J Trump is on the ballot for the 2028 election. I don't think it even matters if he dies before now and then. I think a dead Donald Trump would be more appealing to the Trump Maga base than Rubio or J.D. Vance. I am all for it breaking down barriers. We may never have a woman president but electing a dead man is quite possible.

You are silly.

Trump wants war with Cuba. The Trump DOJ or as I call it Department of Injustice has filed charges on 94 year old Raul Castro. Cuba does see this as an act of aggression and have said they would go to war.
How high will gas get?, Will they bring back the draft?

How about the 1.8 billion dollar fund that Trump set up for those who suffered from the January 6 riots. So those who broke in, urinated and or defecated like common animals now are drooling over the financial gain.

Lastly how about the deal Trump made with Trump as to him and his family no longer being prosecuted from the IRS.

Trump is a despot. If you support Trump then I feel sorry for you that you are so easily lead.

The Capital City police have filed an injunction against Trump and his 1.8 billion dollar restitution payments to the rioters.
Trump is the anti Robin Hood. He steals from the poor to give to the rich.

Trump is forcing Cuba to take action. And while it might take one carrier Air Wing to bring down the communist leadership, it will kill thousands of Civilians, put is in another no way out war.

Oh last two thoughts:
1. We don't have a carrier to dedicate to Cuba they are busy cutting holes in the surface of the Red Sea and such.
2. At 90 miles miles away, if Russia has positioned any long range missiles, even just semtec or other explosive Warheads, it will rain down on Miami. Oh wait Mar Lago is near there, make sure they know where not to hit around it.

I wish for just once he'd think before he speaks

Politics online is always chaos 😅 everyone’s gonna see this situation completely differently.

Yeah. Lol. I was raised to be a democrat. Between my mom and school I thought republicans were the bad guys for a long time. I sounded exactly like some of the people here. Then through the internet I learned about many policies that really messed up our country and trust me both parties are to blame. I am an independent voter now.

I argue with liberals more because their are simply more liberals here. If you read through all my posts you will see me disagreeing with the one or two conservatives that are here. You'll see me agree with a left leaning guy who blocked me right after I agreed with him on something. Lol. It's all craziness.

I think people here would be shocked that I'm pro choice, pro no fault divorce, a socialist, and an egalitarian. I believe the big banks need to be broke up. That the lobbying needs to stop and all tax loop holes be closed and that if they don't pay their taxes like every American they also can be held criminally liable. That holding profits off shore to avoid taxes is also criminal. Also we need to amend the constitution to get rid of the Citizens United ruling and get money out of our politics. There's a lot more, but I'll cut it off here. These are the things that concern me.

I do no converse with NavyWings. He implies he is a Naval Aviator. He maybe be Aircrew, but has no knowledge of basic Naval Aviations skills, and acronyms. In Short at best he is misleading, at worst he is stealing Valor.

Tame or not, the fact is he is a felon.

The other fact is, he has put this Nation in a position of Ridicule from every nation partner we have.

He started a conflict of Extra-Judicial killings the are illegal in our country and the world.

He has with out forethought released classified information to the press by explaining how SpecOps were able to conduct a military action on foreign soil with little to no resistance.

He ordered an attack on a nation that was no clear threat to the US homeland, before he explored any other options, and doing so has cost the lives Military service members.

Under his command, he allowed the SecDef to conduct operations that brought about retaliations from the above country, that the Area Commanders knew we were not prepared to defend against. Low and Slow required and is getting a Billion dollar upgrade to the Patriot System, after the fact.

He now has 3 carrier battle groups and at least 1 Amphibious Readiness Group in one Geographic area, reducing this countries ability to rapidly respond to Near Peer threats much higher on the order of battle and they already have Nuclear weapons.

And I don't need to reiterate the economy, the one blaring issue in every citizens face.

This is not rage it is a statement of fact. People may love that he took on Venezuela's drug cartels. But it was illegal.
They may love that he took the leader of another country to the US, its been done before (though the last time there was an actual federal warrant for the leader) but it was illegal.
Hell it might even be a great thing he attacked Iran, but it still was not in the nations best interest at the time.
He's a typical coward. If he can't debate you, he'll block you. Poser.

what about the screen shots of you sending women pics of your flat arse with out them even asking.

He was asked for proof. He provided it and this is your response? What does his alleged conduct as a user here have to do with anything pertaining to this? Lol.

Like do you think everyone who served is a saint and would never do something dumb or wrong? If that's the case you're very wrong about people who serve. They are as flawed as the rest of us. If it's not then i just don't see the connection.

I don't know much about military workings or paperwork so I can't confirm his proof is real either. So I didn't comment on it.

The only thing you've done here is display your dislike of him and those who dislike will now like your post. So are you farming Likes for an achievement? If that was the case your method is sound, I now see the connection, and I commend you on your tactics.

Or maybe there was no plan. Just had a bad day and needed to let it out and this how you choose to do it. In that case you need a better outlet for stress.

Perhaps you're feeling down? Trying to cause a fight to distract yourself? Hmmm lots of possibilities here.

Maybe you saw something in the news that triggered you and you want to find a perceived bad guy to fight to feel like you're fighting the good fight? That's a very addicting feeling. I'm very susceptible to it personally.

Or maybe you are former military and an upstanding citizen and expect the same of others.

On second thought there's a lot of this using conduct here to cut down others even if it doesn't pertain to the post being replied to. So maybe it's a reflexive learned group behavior? 🤔

I'll stop guessing now before this gets any longer. Lol. And before you say it yes I know I'm crazy and stupid and don't make any sense.

Maybe a good sign in Trump Wants
Trump wants a 1.8 billion dollar fund to go to those that were weaponized by the US Government. This mainly refers to the Jan 6th rioters that were inconvenienced as they destroyed public property. This money comes from the landmark Trump vs Trump case where Trump sue the U.S. Government where Trump got a massive wad of cash and no audits for lifetime for him and his family.
This is causing a little divide among republicans.
The scary thing about it is that it will lead others to do similar violent acts to keep Trump in office. Happy Memorial Day.

1. that is stupid. american democracy will persist.

2. everyone know you are a racist, anti-jew hater, BLM.

your previous comments about "jew money" (direct quote)
, speak volumes.

Trump wants continue memorials despite the efforts of Burger King, Trump is still alive and ticking.. though a bit slowly.
The newest waste of tax payer money will be printing of a 250 dollar bill with Trump's sullen likeness adorning. It will be legal tender. I have two takes on this. 1 It will be a commemorative with limited printing. If there were 500 of this printed then the collector value would skyrocket maybe approaching 7 figures. So just another grift Trump scheme.
2- Maybe a reaction to possible hyperinflation. The Iran war is over but it appears likely Trump is not through. How about a war of 1812 do over. Plus all these vanity projects prices will continue to rise. Maybe even a Jeffrey Epstein 500 dollar bill.

Trump is really throwing a tantrum. He refused to sign a significant housing bill which had bipartisan support because he wants his Make America Safe Act which has not enough support to pass. All of you Trump fans how is your president doing?
For all you who think that Trump and his policies are the greatest can you smell it in the air? Socialist democrats winning elections beating incumbent pro Israel candidates. We got two more years of this Christian Nationalist ****. Soon no more Trump.

Trump wants all of you patriots to renew your passport in time for the limited edition 250 year celebration. If you get a passport you will have a photo of a grim looking Trump. The most interesting part is it does say, "Welcome, but be good."
So passports are for America citizens to use while traveling. I think Trump has the passport and visa endorsements mixed up.
I am planning to renew my passport but it will be after this for damn sure. I don;t know about the rest of you but I am tired of seeing images of Trump. The only image I want to see is him in his final resting place.... which we know will be hell.
Oh jesus, I just admitted the existence of hell that autistic negroid like AOE will hop all on this.

Well , a few things wrong with your statement. I have never been to Ethiopia Jaime. I imagine you would love to visit there since all the men have long floppy hot dogs. Take your friend Ofir and see which one catches AIDS first. You silly goose I am white. I am living in my birth city. You may be more stupid than Richthofen.

News has come out that Mr. Alto is retiring. Do Republicans have the numbers realistically to replace him if Trump has someone in minds? I know there’s a few Republicans that are fed up with him, especially the ones that like Cassidy from Louisiana.

I think if Alto is retiring Trump will try to get him retired soon. The republicans are splintering and it is about time but I think they would come together to put another conservative on the bench. If he retires around November then anyone Trump recommends will not be approved.
I think it is interesting and expected that moderate democrats are losing out to more left leading candidates. In November if one house changes then that ends the free reign and if both houses flip I predict he will retire for health reasons.

This was all fake news apparently. But you’re 100% correct. I’m 1000% positive Republicans are losing the House. Do you agree? I also think have a 50/50 with Senate. It’s definitely in play compared to other times.

I would love my party to be able to deny him judges, and all that.

Okay so this is real. Trump wants his ugly mug permanently placed on Mt Rushmore. You can't make this up. Appropriately named Florida representative Anna Paulina Luna has entered a bill calling for the Orange Felon to be added to Mt Rushmore. Luna means lunatic and that daft bimbo is named perfectly.
There are tons of issues including structural ones which make this impossible. Not to mention 70 of the U.S. can't stand to see his face and also the natives would object.
@Mr. Jose, Is this proof that Trump is nothing but a narcissist? How can any of you take this man seriously?

They’re gonna replace Lincoln’s face with him the reasoning they’re gonna say he’s done more for people of color then Abe.

Your liberalism is showing. Blocked.

lol What in the hell do you think you will see in a thread created by a life long social worker and someone who proudly identifies as a liberal? At least I am not a gaybear.
Did you get fired as a mod? Are you related to Dragon'sFire?

Gaybear now blocked. If you are gay and pro Trump something is wrong with you. Trump is calling for banning gay marriage. Gays who support Trump are anti Gay.

That’s something I know that doesn’t make sense to me in all seriousness.

How can one be LGBTQ for the most part and support Donald?

I don't have an issue with him or any person, gay, straight, even Alaskans with stds being conservative. I don't understand though is how anyone on the LGBTQ spectrum can align themselves with MAGA. MAGA is already coming after the transgender. They will also try to outlaw gay marriage. I do admit I have not seen any Gay for Trump signs though.

I’ve actually seen like two online. Your spot on with the statement. How could you be for someone that intern wants to take away your rights. Just baffles me.

Trump wants everyone in America to know if they don't quit electing progressives he will find another more deserving country for him to be president of. Then he could launch an evasion of the U.S. especially how depleted the U.S.'s war machine is with the never ending Iranian conflict. @purplerose a state you have been associated with is making Mr Trump mad. Please speak to your local folks or he will have a stroke.

The report of a top U.S. General privately seeking off-ramp from the Iran war. People finally coming to their senses? The general said " Air power has it's limits and munitions are running low." Which also means if we are attacked resources are limited as to self-defense. Maybe a military coup in our near future?

Trump now wants to bomb Oman, if it gets in the way of the Iran peace deal which has been ongoing for months. I suspect it will be like the time he threatened Israel and later backed down. How anyone can still support this guy I don't know. His own party is getting a little weary of all the wonderful thing Trump does. Oh and Trump wants you to never mind affordability. He says one day gas will be so cheap that gas stations will pay you for filling up with gas.

Explaining current events and the web of terrorists in the middle east would be like explaining rocket science to a 2 year old.

Watching Trump scolding a female reporter was so unsettling comparing her to her male collegue and trash talking her. How any female (born or idenfies) voted for this pig is beyond me.
Well hopefully Trump does nothing smart and the failing economy will be enough to sway independents, Hopefully the youth of America will speak out in large numbers. If one house tumbles then Trump and his vanity projects are done.

Ya ya ya we know. More war for some obscure reason to make your wiener hard because it makes your military seem relevant. We get it. Tow that line buddy. #PointlessWarsSuckAss

Everyone spoke 2 years ago. You must mean as long as they speak in a way you favor because you didn't like it 2 years ago. Mwahaha. *slow claps.*

We have seen him scold both male and female reporters who disrespect him. Nobody cares. Unless you are asking for favoritism for females which is pretty much sexist... which I thought you were against sexism.

You can't talk sense to the people who still support him. I think it requires them being hurt by something he ended up doing, to understand that Trump doesnt give a sh*t about anyone except himself.
Explaining current events and the web of terrorists in the middle east would be like explaining rocket science to a 2 year old.
America is also considered the terrorists in the eyes of many, and have multiple instances of this administration's military-use violating international human rights laws. I wouldn't expect someone who thinks climate change is a hoax, to unstand this information.

Dude your trolling is boring beyond death now!

I'm not wrong. Insults prove nothing. He crap talks men and women both who he dislikes or disrespect him. This is a well documented fact and doesn't prove sexism.

How is me speaking reason and logic the behavior of a troll? After all you're posting in the DEBATE FORUM. Might wanna expect some... debate. Lol.

9/10 times, the person hes insulting is a woman, and here's a shocker, he hasn't a great track record with women, often accused of r*ping them. Stop kissing his ass, hes a gigantic piece of **** and it says a lot about you.

Indeed, a well documented fact. Personal insults without end and low ones at that. I don't know about you, but i prefer a leader who is above that kind of thing. And this isn't even about democrat policies vs republican policies. This is just his personality, which clearly isn't a great fit for arguably the most important job in the world.

Couldn't you find another McCain somewhere in that big republican party? I mean, i didn't agree with his politics, but at least i wouldn't have lost sleep knowing he had the nuclear codes and wouldn't have to fear for your democracy, if you get my drift.

Heck no. I love he crap talks them and establishment politicians. Who do you think broke America before 2016? Also i would have never voted for McCain or any establishment republicans. They're worse than establishment democrats. I voted for Obama both times. If Rubio is running against AOC in 2028 I'm voting AOC. Rubio is an establishment republican and warhawk.

I'm not trying to put you down or anyone else, but it's hard to argue with people not from America. Your allegiance is not to my country or my people. It is to your country and your people. Which it should be. Of course you don't mean us harm I'm sure, but you don't have the same motivations either. Just like if I started telling you what your country needs to do. My allegiance is not to your country or people.

Being the President of the United States shouldn't be the most important job in the world. It should only be the most important job in America.

Your allegiance isnt to America either, if you still support this administration. Youre not the Patriots you guys claim to be. Trump is the establishment, and anything or anyone who doesn't support him, hes claimed is an enemy. You went from claiming to have voted for Bernie twice, to proving youre a conservative and a liar. You guys have no image and constantly try to find one while changing the narrative of what's truly going on.

Anti-establishment can't just mean electing someone that burns the whole thing down, can it? If you are disappointed with your politicians and want to reform the system, fine, i get that. But... this guy?

Sure, but i still have to share a planet with you guys. And with your current size and power, you obviously have a global influence. So i guess, you just have to put up with me butting in every now and then. Aside from that, take it as a compliment. Our nations are historically linked, so sometimes we like to think of you as family. And if a family member is acting a bit unusual, we worry.

Just like if I started telling you what your country needs to do.
You'd be very welcome. Constructive criticism is always helpful.

Being the President of the United States shouldn't be the most important job in the world.
Keep this up for a decade or two, and it won't be.

We elected Trump because he ran as anti establishment. If a president is anti establishment wouldn't he start to tear down parts of the old government that wasn't working? Secondly Americans have been given the illusion of choice for a long time. Our frustration has built to the point we're will to burn the whole thing down. Why do you think socialists are getting elected to democrat positions more now? Our have have just been like the suggestions box at work they never really pay attention to.

We're not acting unusual. We're tired of trillions of our dollars going towards supporting and protecting over half the planet while we have homeless people here and Americans who are working their butts off can barely scrape ahead.

If the job of President of the United States becomes as important as the leaders of other countries that would be the best thing.

So instead your prefer your trillions of dollars going into Trump and his friends pockets while he inflates your own prices and guess what still a huge homeless population in America. Apart from that you do not have affordable healthcare, pharmaceuticals and many an American is bankrupt due to cost of healthcare. So according to your opinion tearing down old ideologies is what Trump is about? No he's about acting like a child on Twitter, threating countries who will not support his inane acts, creating war to drive up prices, slapping tarrifs on countries (who inflate the prices to cover the tarrifs) and you still purchase them!

Secondly you have no choice - he is dictating the whole show.

A child in first year of school could understand this - but lets post what a champ he is for attention on a chatsite.

We have healthcare. My 160k surgery was paid for. Also in the last 3 months my medicines have dropped 40% in cost. Might wanna get your facts straight ma'am.

Tariffs do drive up the price of foreign goods and components used to make American goods. You're right. That's why companies making things in America get a 5% tax cut to off set that foreign components cost. Oh and those foreign components become worth making in America which means more jobs here.

Yeah the war was a mistake, but no president is perfect. You just think he should be more sneaky about it like Obama blowing up families in the middle east with missile drones or his 1.4 trillion dollar "tax forgiveness" for his rich friends. Then you got Biden saying Ukraine can join NATO literally kicking off that war. We buy Ukraine goods at a premium so they can buy our weapons and our weapon manufacturers get richer. Talk about making your friends richer. How dare Trump do the same thing. Smh.

You literally have no clue what is going on in my country. Maybe focus on making your country into the kind of place that doesn't have to pander to my country. If the people of America get we want we won't be the world police and piggy bank anymore.

Yeah. How about Australia spend trillions on military for the next few years and police the world? Give America a break. Oh wait... your social programs that make your lives so great would have to be downsized or cut. You'd end up like America. Oh no!

We're not acting unusual. We're tired of trillions of our dollars going towards supporting and protecting over half the planet while we have homeless people here and Americans who are working their butts off can barely scrape ahead.
Protecting "half the planet" also comes with lots of advantages. I can't put a dollar amount on it, but it is definitely not going to be trivial. As mentioned in another thread, at the very least you have created a nice market for all your shiny military kit (which, by the way, is at risk of collapsing, as Europe is quickly rediscovering that it can be actually quite good at making weapons).

And aside from that, the choice between welfare and a strong military is a false dichotomy. During the cold war, western europe had extensive social programs (moreso than today, I'd say) _and_ a military capable of making the Soviet Union think twice. So, i think, you can have both, even with modern day demographics, as long as you are not, say, overextending yourself with endless wars in the middle east.
If the job of President of the United States becomes as important as the leaders of other countries that would be the best thing.
I'd agree with you on that, if we had a functional layer to deal with global affairs. Institutions like the United Nations, WHO and WTO are a start, but they are far from perfect. So, sure, you could retreat to your corner of the world, but border-crossing issues are not going to magically disappear, when you stop looking at them. Pandemics, disruptive technologies, climate change, international terrorism, wars, all these things are going to need some global leadership and, if ignored, will eventually come crashing through your front door. I, for one, would like to have western style democracies lead the way in dealing with them, rather than autocratic regimes like China and Russia. If the United States is walking away, i suppose, it is going to be left to the EU and friends. Now, our track record isn't great, but hey, perhaps this time we'll get it right (somebody just needs to make sure that Germany doesn't get overexcited again 😉 ).

Lol. You do realize you're trying to convince me to vote to keep my country footing the bill for your protection right? How about your country foot the bill for a bit?

And if war does actually break out. It's American lives lost first.

Your gain is our loss. You're not gonna convince me otherwise. On top of the military we have other problems here.

This how the USD works. The more money we print the less it's worth. So our currency is tied directly to our debt. If we stop being price gouged on military, health, education, and many other things we can pay off that debt. The cost of things come down because the dollar becomes stronger.

I mean heck we were spending money on giving mice sex changes. How ridiculous is that? A Stinger missile launcher in the 90s was 16k a pop. Now they're almost 400k a pop. The list of crap goes on and on.

We need to get our country under control. Also people greatly underestimated what the mass incarceration of the 90s did to our population socially. Millions of kids growing up without dads because they sold weed. These kids who grew up in poverty developing mental health disorders and addictions. Sugar is more poisonous to people ffs.

There's also the cost of wars like Vietnam and such. Turned good men into wrecks. They took that out on their kids. Messed them up too. Other wars like that as well because nobody really knew why we were fighting them.

So put your country's money and soldiers on the line. See how it goes. It's easy asking another country people to die for you or the world. You don't have to deal with the body bags or the kids who miss their parent/s or deal with the abuse that comes from PTSD in soldiers.

"You get influence though." No we don't. Our politicians do to make their rich friends richer. We the people have to deal with all the bullcrap from it.

It is good to see Trump endorsed candidates now losing out in primaries. It is quite likely to occur in my Trump entrenched state as well. We could turn blue as to the governor's race in this solid Maga state. I guess we can be talking about the Lame Duck Trump and his plans after the midterms. I bet it includes lots of golf and late night incoherent tweets and drowning one's misery in Whoppers.

Omg the party currently holding the presidency is not doing good in midterms? This is so different from what's happened historically. It must mean something! 🤣

We did, in Afghanistan as per our NATO obligations. Article 5 of the NATO treaty was only invoked once... by the United States, after 9/11.

We did, in Afghanistan as per our NATO obligations. Article 5 of the NATO treaty was only invoked once... by the United States, after 9/11.

Americans took on the brunt of the frontline duty in Afghanistan. Our deaths were 5 times higher than the UK in the 2nd spot. And I am not just talking about one war(if you call blowing up dudes in pickup trucks with apache helicopters war). I am talking about every war after WW2. We are trying to reel our country in. We have spent too much 'intervening' in the world.

Also... we just don't need NATO for the wars we have fought. Iran couldn't even take out one of our aircraft carriers despite firing over 100 missiles at it. They were trying to attack long range destroyers on speed boats with mounted machine guns. So once again NATO is a needless expense for America and before you say we don't spend much on NATO most of our military is used for NATO even if they are not actively doing anything. WE pay for the training of our soldiers. WE pay for the equipment they use and not just tanks, but communications upkeep that NATO gets to enjoy. WE pay for any healthcare costs from training exercises.

We can cut how much we are spending on the military and always be ready to help our friends. We don't need soldiers stationed everywhere that we do. Why is that such a problem for you? Lol. Just a bunch of fear mongering to keep the American funded war machine acting as YOUR bulwark against YOUR enemies. That's what it boils down to. We gave the rest of the world almost 80 years to recover after WW2. Rebuilt a lot of Europe.

Of the approximately 3.65 million NATO active personnel, 1,315,600 are from the United States. All of the combined countries of the EU in NATO have 1,285,970 active personnel. You see the issue there? Why can't we match France with about 200k troops or so?

I should finish this by saying it's not anyone else's fault except America's for getting into this mess, but it is time to fix it. Be more responsible. Here is the skinny of it. We are suffering jobs wise in blue collar work. We send them overseas. So what options do small town people have for careers in fields that require lots of money to go to college for which of course would over saturate those fields and do more harm than good? The military. It's pretty much a jobs program at this point. Meanwhile we are getting doctors and other healthcare workers from overseas to come here and take care of our people because of that shortage thus making the healthcare accessibility of those countries suffer. 200-300k doctors in America are foreign born. 3.1 million immigrant healthcare workers. Imagine if we sent our kids to school to take care of our own people instead of overseas to protect everyone else! Wouldn't that be something?

I will keep going. As of June there are 7.4 million job openings in the USA. There are 6.9 million unemployed Americans. Doesn't sound like an issue except 3.8 million graduate from high school every year. That is not including those who drop out. Also unemployment statistics track how many people are looking for work. It doesn't count those not looking for work(living with family members/friends on their dime, government assistance, ect for example). So yeah America has a real issue and we are looking at the possibility of running our country different including downsizing our military involvement on the world stage.

And before you say, "Well why not join the military and get a skill through them." Well the military only recruits so many a year. Anyone can sign up sure, but they create exclusivity by upping the testing levels to make them more difficult. They lower requirements based on need to get more people in. Now you get small town people who didn't pass the military testing and can't afford college. So they end up going for blue collar... oh crap that's limited too and a bunch of people got their kids in there doing all the easier higher paying work so now they might have space open up on a line that ground the previous person into the dirt for crap pay. They could hang in there and get a promotion in 5-10 years for a couple more bucks an hour and less crappy work... unless someone with a degree in an over saturated field comes along or someone's kid gets the position because of nepotism or some lady has got big boobs <<< literally saw this happen once. No previous experience. Worked there a month. No degree. Got promoted over a dude who had been there a little over 5 years and was more than capable to do the job and never had any issues with anyone. Lol. He applied to a different factory and left not long after needless to say.

But yeah that is how it is in America right now. We need to stop leaving our people behind for profit and one of those things includes our oversized military and foreign aid programs. Which as you saw with 9/11 and other terrorist attacks since then is working so well.

The healthcare affordability issue has zero to do with a lack of doctors and everything to do with the greed of corporations and insurers. Everybody has to have their cut and the cuts just get bigger as you go up the totem pole. Can your long winded diatribe. Talk about the real issue. It’s greed and the lack of anyone to stand up to it because the everyone in power to do anything about it (politicians) are in bed with the corporations. Get corporate money out of government. Return the civil servants to the position of servants. Stop the greed.

You would have to look at relative numbers. UK's population at the time was also 4.5 times smaller than the US. So, their relative contribution sort of matches. Fact is, the US was horribly attacked and your allies responded. And to just marginalise suffering of coalition soldiers as if it were nothing... i really have no words for that.

You seem to think, that i want the US going about the world, invading countries like Iraq and Iran. I do not. I would like the US working together with other western oriented countries to keep the threat of rising autocratic regimes at bay. Not by attacking them, but by having a shared defence alliance, like, i don't know, NATO. Next to that, it would be great if we could work together on international issues as allies, strengthening our voice towards others with less concern for human life.

Now, if the US does not want that anymore, because you think it is too costly, then leave. I'd argue that it isn't it and would, in the long run, save you a lot of trouble, but in the end, it is up to you to decide what to do.

De facto, Europe is already preparing for the US packing up and going home, especially after Trump started threatening to annex Greenland and Canada (can we acknowledge how insane that is, by the way?). Some of us still hope, that the US comes to its senses again soon, but no one is actually counting on it.

Very well articulated!

Do you really me to type the words "Invading Greenland or Canada is crazy." when literally this whole time I've been saying me and many Americans wanna stop with the military crap? You really need to work on your reading skills. Lol. We shouldn't be invading or bombing any country that hasn't attacked us period. The ones that do we drop the hammer on them for a week or 2 then come home.

You're missing the point of what I'm saying though. The far right and far left are actually tyrannical. They believe it is okay to use violence to force their wills on other people. Most Americans are somewhere in the middle though.

With that being said what if one far crazy side did get control of America? Started using the military to enforce their will. Killing political opponents. Putting nonconforming people into camps as slave labor until they die or just outright kill them? What could you do about it? Hmm? Laws are only as good as the ability to enforce them. America is the big enforcer. What if Trump found a loophole in our system to carry out an invasion of Greenland or Canada? NATO would lose a massive amount of troops just trying to get over here and that's after they fought off the attacks that would happen within minutes to their countries because of our strategically positioned bases. Would Europe be willing to sacrifice millions of lives for Greenland? Which countries of NATO would bet on America winning and not help or worse join us?

Oh I know you'll use international law to stop the leader responsible! All you gotta do is come and get them. Lol. Imagine fighting an America that doesn't follow the rules of war? It's a bone chilling thought.

America has checks and balances, but the world needs it too. That's why the rest of ya need to step up. Get some muscle. Lol.

Btw I love how you side step all my concerns i have about my country and you're only concerned about your country and the security it gets from America. Kind of a telling behavior. I mean if you don’t care about my concerns why should I care about your's? Lol.

Here's the cold hard reality of the dynamic of our positions in life. I vote in America's elections. You vote in your country's elections. My vote directly affects your life. Your vote has zero effect on mine. If America votes truly wrong just one time it could end the world as we know it in more ways than one. The 2008 crash didn't just happen in America did it? It messed most of the world up. That my friend should not be the way it is.

Honestly our most important relationship right now is with China. They make most of our crap. Lol. If they cut us off that would hurt pretty bad. That's why we wanna bring manufacturing back. Letting any one country get too much power over your fate is a bad position to be in. Not even with the possibility of becoming evil or tyrannical. If a meteor or some catastrophe did massive damage to the world countries would immediately go into survival mode. They'd put their citizens first.

If you look at the world like a Monopoly board then America, Russia, and China are the only ones playing. The rest of the world is just the squares we're trying to put hotels on.

Trump's approval rating is the worst its ever been at 33% . His supporters will make the obvious claim that its just a poll number, but when it was Biden? Its all they spoke about.

Everything Trump does is to cut funding on programs for people, or that help the environment, then allocate that money into something hes invested in. This is the most corrupt President in the history of America, and I refuse to lower myself to these people who defend this, because they have the mentality of a teenager and cant admit they were fooled, duped, and wrong.

No, i don't need you to write "invading Greenland or Canada is crazy", but i would really love for you to realise that when you say things to tune of "Trump is not perfect", that that sounds to me like a gross understatement, in the same category as e.g. "having your roof on fire is a mild inconvenience".

Look, I have friends in the US. Of course, i worry about your domestic issues and, as i mentioned somewhere else, i wish you all the best. But, somehow i don't think you would react well on me telling you how to run your internal affairs, nor am i that knowledgeable about it. But if you insist, i can give you a few tips.

My vote has zero effect on you? Well, i not only vote for my country, i also vote for the EU parliament. The EU has a combined GDP of about $22 trillion. Yours is $31 trillion. China about $20 trillion. Russia, by the way, only $2.5 trillion. So, you see, economically, the EU is a more than a factor of significance.

You mention that you are economically tied to China, and yes, that's true. But just for funsies, i looked up what the EU is exporting to the US: $620 billion for 2025. China exports "only" $525 billion to the US. And what kind of products does the EU export to the US, you ask? Well, turns out it is not just Belgian chocolate and French wine (although it would be fun to see, how $620B worth of that looks like ;-). Instead, one of the largest categories is medical equipment and medication, another is heavy machinery. So, fair to say, if the EU decided to hurt the US, you'd probably notice.

Now, it is true, that after the implosion of the Soviet Union, most European nations scaled down their military forces significantly (not Poland though, they armed the f*** up. I wouldn't want to pick a fight with those guys). But, guess what, after the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the US on the verge of going rogue, we're working our way back up and this time with a focus on independence of both Russia _and_ the US. This is going to take time, naturally. But keep antagonising us and this collection of otherwise stubbornly self-centered nations will align themselves against you. So, congratulations, you'll probably get what you want; a strong, independent Europe, showing you the finger, whenever we think you are acting against our interests.

And, as to the whole "don't be dependent on the US, because we can mess things up royally"-argument; the US was the "leader of the free world", because it mostly (but certainly not always) tended to act in the interest of western democracies (or to quote Churchill: "You can always count on Americans to do the right thing, after they've tried everything else"). Having said that, yes, it's finally dawned on us too, that you are entirely capable of electing a batshit crazy leader... twice. As far as i can tell, the only reason Trump is not throwing certain members of the press in jail, is because he can't... so no need to wait another election cycle to have tyrannical leaders in place, you already have them. Luckily, thanks to those checks and balances you mentioned, they are being curtailed. But, these are being sort of stress-tested right now and when i say that i fear for your democracy, i am not being hyperbolic. I mean that literally.

That's almost laughable. You might gouge us more on prices. I don't think I've ever seen the words Made in Britain, Spain, France, ect once in my life. Also does 1 billion go further in Chinese goods or EU goods?

Hmm let's take a deeper look shall we. Pharmaceuticals is number one. What a coincidence. Our largest overpriced industry. Wow. How many of those companies do you think are based in Ireland or other low tax EU countries? You forget that we are outsourcing jobs and companies. Many American companies switched to EU as well. Lemme search it. Omfg. I just looked it up. Can't believe i guessed that right. Lol. I knew Ireland was a tax haven for many American companies because of an article i read while Obama was president, but this is bad. Ireland in 2024 exported 28% of EU pharmaceuticals. Switzerland came in 2nd at 19.8% and Germany in 3rd at 17.8%. Singapore is at 16.7%. Those 4 countries make up half of all USA pharmaceuticals exported by budget from the entire world. Not just EU. Wow who knew the Irish were huge into pharmaceuticals?

Wanna get more depressed about your absolute lack of awareness as I take you off the script that has been written for you? This one is gonna hurt. So Ireland we pay the most for pharmaceuticals. 66 billion of our budget or 19.8% as stated above. They are responsible for 44% to 52% of drugs in America by tons shipped. From China we import only 9.5 billion in pharmaceuticals or 4% of our budget goes to them. They ship around 44% of our pharmaceuticals by tons as well. So... thanks for charging us 5 times more than China I guess? Lol. So you mix those 2 and you end up realistically around 80 to 90 percent of pharmaceuticals shipped to the USA by tons. That means 10 to 20 percent are made by the rest of the world, but 58% of what we spend goes to them. Wow.

The reason pharmaceuticals companies are attracted to Ireland? Tax rate. What did Trump just do? Lowered our tax rates. Let me know if you want a deeper dive. I have a sneaking suspicion that many of Ireland's pharmaceuticals are not run by Irish born people either. Lol. I also wonder how many of those drugs were paid for by American tax dollars to be researched just to be gouged in price to buy them. Smh.

Now this whole America is leader of the free world is malarkey. You're talking about the old America. This new one poisons its people for profit. Throws them in jail for petty crimes. Sinks them in massive debt to go to college or risk their lives in the military. Did you know investment groups own 25% of single family homes in places like Atlanta, Georgia and only rents them? That and AirBnB has caused this massive housing shortage. America kicks off wars directly or through proxy constantly as well.

America is no longer what you should aspire to become. We are quickly turning into a cautionary tale unless we fix it. We're flying too close to the Sun with these wings made of wax.

Like I said Trump isn't perfect, but our country was broken long before he became president.

I don't think I've ever seen the words Made in Britain, Spain, France, ect once in my life. Also does 1 billion go further in Chinese goods or EU goods?
I don't know where you'd look for the label "Made in a bunch of European countries" on an Airbus, but if you were on one of those (and you'd have to be, if you fly regularly), you had your life depending on something designed and made in Europe.

If you bought a new phone or laptop recently, then chances are, that its chips where lasered by an advanced machine built in the Netherlands (ASML) running frighteningly accurate optics from Germany (Zeiss). Those chips were built with these machines in Taiwan (which is obviously not European), but you get my point how Europe plays a critical part here (and incidentally, how important international trade and cooperation is, without it things like laptops become really difficult to produce).

I'm not sure what kind of cars you drive, but Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, obviously all European. Stellantis, a big European automative firm, produces a lot of brands you probably wouldn't know, but they recently acquired the american Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep brands. I could go on: IKEA, Adidas, Lego, Heineken, Nivea, Red Bull, Nestle. And isn't Aldi kind of getting big in the US these days too?

We've mentioned the defence sector a few times now. One of the reasons Europe can spin up quickly, is because when it was not producing weapons for itself, it was exporting them around the world, including the US. Thales and Rheinmetall (especially for weapon components) are the two who immediately come to mind. Oh, which reminds me, some parts of the F-35 are built in Europe too.

True, some companies relocated to the EU, some for tax havens for sure (although, i am not entirely sure if that effects export numbers as you say it does), some perhaps also for the fact the EU (and Europe in general) has a lot of research centers, a lot of very decent universities, and, due to our relatively accessible educational system, a lot of people with PhDs walking around, who generally can speak fluent English. Especially that last point made Ireland and the UK (especially when it was still part of the EU) valuable places for the US to invest in.

Aside from that, if you don't know Bayer, AstraZeneca, Philips and Siemens (the last two not only medical companies, but they built a lot of medical equipment and related components), i don't know what to tell you. Remember Ozempic? Comes from Denmark (Novo Nordisk), of all places.

Speaking of Philips and Siemens, relocation of factories and jobs goes both sides, often it makes sense for EU companies to set up shop in the US. Where you ever under a MRI-machine? It might have been assembled in the US, but quite a few of them come from Philips and Siemens.

Again, whether you like or not, EU (and moreso Europe) is a large trading partner. And why shouldn't it be? It's a developed continent with an industrial base, lots of highly educated talent, mostly functional governments and a largely free market. I'll grant you, that we are severely lacking in the software services industry, but even there you might know us from booking.com, ayden, SAP and, oh yeah, Spotify.

Is the stereotype that we are all just work-shy hippies, getting high on dutch weed, while critiquing french noir movies so deeply entrenched?

Yeah, or you get really basic cheap mass produced stuff from China and get the more advanced, expensive, stuff from Europe.

Now this whole America is leader of the free world is malarkey. You're talking about the old America. This new one poisons its people for profit. Throws them in jail for petty crimes. Yes, those are all real issues and some of those problems we have over here as well. Housing shortage, for example, is pretty horrific here. Knowing that, doesn't help you much, but perhaps you can find some comfort in the fact that this is something we all struggle with.

America is no longer what you should aspire to become. We are quickly turning into a cautionary tale unless we fix it. We're flying too close to the Sun with these wings made of wax.
Then, i really do hope it gets fixed and there we can find common ground. But, you and i fundamentally disagree on who you should employ to fix it. In my opinion, Trump is going to make things way, way worse. Others e.g. have pointed out the corrupt nature of his government. That can't be helpful, if you want to tackle those issues you mentioned.

Like I said Trump isn't perfect, but our country was broken long before he became president.
Fair enough, but again, Trump is not fixing it. From where I'm looking, he's mainly using your country for his own personal agenda and vendettas.

Want me to deep dive into all that and prove you wrong again just so you can ignore my facts? Well I'm not going to do it. I don't regret my vote going to Trump and i will continue vote for people who want to bring industries back to America and/or downsize our military and get spending under control.

To accomplish this I can't afford to be informed by the biased news or foreign born people that don't want change and take their word for it. They want that gravy train to keep rolling in their favor.

I am sure I can speak for a few here, we do want change, we want Trump out its as simple as that as the boy is crazy and is causing kaos whenever he opens his mouth, fingers and raves like a loon on Twitter and TV.
They want that gravy train to keep rolling in their favor.
What gravy train? That gravy train is going all into Trumps pockets and those of his mates.

Well here is here until 2028. You can speak all you want. Not gonna change the fact the majority of America voted him in. Sorry. Lol.

The majority of America did not vote him in. 34.7% of registered voters did not vote. Those are not MAGA voters, those are people who with held their vote in protest or didnt like either candidate. Also, there is strong evidence that progressives will crush the mid terms, this means they'll be able to investigate and bring charges against Trump, while stopping anymore of his brain dead moves to make himself richer.

To accomplish this I can't afford to be informed by the biased news or foreign born people that don't want change and take their word for it.
You know, i was wondering about this. What news sources do you consider to be unbiased?

They want that gravy train to keep rolling in their favor.
Is it really that hard to accept, that there are situations which are not zero sum? When the whole becomes more than the ingredients?

Look, if you want me to say it, i will. Trump was right to call out our lacking defence budgets. By the way, Obama made the same point, just more diplomatically and, this is the crucial bit, he never publically threatened to get out of NATO. Trump, not having any filter whatsoever, of course destabilized the whole thing by doing exactly that.

Fast forward a year and quite a few notable intelligence agencies are warning that Russia is preparing to make a move on NATO at some point. Obviously, not a full scale war (for now), but just a significantly more brazen provocation than the hybrid stuff that has been going on now. The reason Russia feels it might get away with that, is because it senses that we are not a united front (courtesy of Trump and his tweets). And what Russia gets from such a provocation, is us fighting among ourselves; Europe arguing for a response, while Trump is retreating because he couldn't care less about the Baltics or Poland. That'll show the whole world, China included, that the West is fractioned and can be played.

I have come to understand, that you don't care about our security, so this means all very little to you. However, that security is what your grandfather's generation fought and died for to provide (for which, again, i am, and always will be, grateful. By the way, also a shoutout to the Canadians, British and Australians, who too sacrificied their soldiers to liberate us from those dark years).

And i am not saying, that your soldiers should die again on European soil or that you spend a significant amout of your GDP for our defence (article 5, e.g. says nothing about how a response should look like, if we are attacked). But, please, if not for us than out of respect for the American soldiers buried in our ground, don't screw it up by having a president making things way worse than they have to be, because he can't stop himself blabbering out things that actively undermine the whole architecture we've spent decades building up together. At this point, having a potato as your president would have been less damaging to us, given that a vegetable tends not to tweet messages, which can create broad sweeping geopolitical crises.

Now, if you want to throw all that away, because you think that it saves you a few bucks (which, i'd argue, it doesn't), go right ahead. We'll still honor those graves regardless and remember the United States as it once was.

What I'm saying is we don't need bases and soldiers that live there. We don't need to spend all the money we spend. Even our soldiers living there spend their money there bolstering the local economy. Why can't we just center our country around taking care of our country and if anyone makes trouble for our friends we come help? America is the only country that does what it does with the military. It's ridiculous. I'm not against other people from other countries coming here to learn and taking those skills home to improve their country. I'm not against trade either.

You brought up us having your cars here... i think America doesn't need help making cars. Did you know our car factories put out 1 car per minute? Most of the cars we make are never even sold. They go to a lot to be reused or scapped. Lol. We don't need to outsource our jobs or do mass migration to keep wages low while the rich get richer.

You talk about other countries inventing medicine, but we can trade for those. FYI about medicines America has innovated almost half of all approved medications on the planet. We export 1/5 of pharmaceuticals exported on Earth every year.

Your talk about the way it's always been and what not. It's rubbish. People in abusive relationships shouldn't stay with their abuser because they hope things will get better or because of history between them.

Yes we have become reliant on the world, but by choice. Not necessity. We can undo that choice. Being more self sufficient doesn't mean isolationist either. I'm tired of people redefining words to fit their bullcrap.

Also those American soldiers died for America. To make it safer and defend the American Dream. Helping other countries was just a bonus. You invoke their sacrifice while the American Dream they sacrificed their lives for has been declared impossible to reach now based on what Americans make for anyone middle class or lower... ya know the people who make up most the military to begin with?

You're also exhibiting the mentality that because America has helped the world the world is now entitled to its help indefinitely.

Trump won the popular vote. Every swing state. There's a reason for that and it's not because Americans are bad people. We're like you. If things are going good we just chill. Live our lives. If things start making us angry in our daily lives we start paying attention. Over 6 decades of horrible policy lead us to Trump being president. It's that simple.

As for where I get my news I see events happening from multiple sources both domestic and international, but every single time I have to deep dive into policy to find the truth if it's about the government especially. Things like Glass-Stegall being gutted on 1998 that caused the 2008 crash the largest transfer of wealth in American history up to that point. The blatant lying of the news and the idea any information from our intelligence agencies is now questionable because of the repeal of the Smith-Mundt act in 2012. I use the filter of what I've learned about nature, human nature, and the universe to make my judgements.

I think about how things affect me. My feelings about those things. What I said or did. When I see someone else acting or talking like I did during those times I remember what caused those behaviors or words to come out. I think about my family and friends during those times too. Know the people i am observing are thinking of their family and friends as well. However humans are loyal to their people. Not all people. A mother and father are not going to take away from their kids to help other people out, but they are more likely to help if they feel they have the means to without sacrificing their or their own children's happiness.

And that's what has happened in America. People are so financially stressed out they are beginning to pull back. Assess who or if they help someone.

People also project. So if enough Americans become financially stressed they not only pull back help from people they don't deem relevant or a waste of money, but are more likely to vote for someone who wants to pull back help as well. It's that simple.

And it's not even the world's fault. It's the few percent of rich on the planet making things crappy. That doesn't matter though. All people know is their instinct to protect their own. Provide for their own. That has been triggered in America. Now we are pulling back and that instinct is being triggered in you because your people might suffer from mine pulling away. So here you are hating Trump instead of the people who caused the inevitable rise of Trump.

You have absolutely no idea - its painful to read (not that I read it as its way too long winded)

I did unblock Thunderdome and sorry I did. This guy is a bigger gasbag than I ever could be.
I guess he is okay with the 37.5 billion dollars spend so far on the Iran war , a war that 65 percent of the country is against.
I guess he is okay that we have had high ranking generals tell us that munitions are running low, that conditions on many of the naval vessels are deplorable.
I guess he is okay with the 150 million dollars for the Trump golden arches.
I guess he is fine with the 600 million dollars being spent on the golden ball room. (I wonder if the showers will be golden too?)
Trump's vanity projects have had negative impact on families, who are now spending 1200 more a year on things like gas, food etc.

But I am not here to argue with Thunderdrunk. He goes back on ignore because he is boring and is too long winded. Trump's approval rating has dropped to 33%. If both houses flips then we can have those like Thunderdome, Navy Seals, Jose can go back blaming liberals for the ills of the country.

What I'm saying is we don't need bases and soldiers that live there. We don't need to spend all the money we spend. Even our soldiers living there spend their money there bolstering the local economy.
If you still want to solely focus on the financial side, as mentioned before, our participation in NATO means that we do buy a lot of american weapon systems, creating a whole bunch of jobs state side. Now, i'll admit, i don't know what brings you more financially in the end, but it is just not as simple as "base cost money, we are in debt, so let's leave".

Why can't we just center our country around taking care of our country and if anyone makes trouble for our friends we come help? America is the only country that does what it does with the military. It's ridiculous. I'm not against other people from other countries coming here to learn and taking those skills home to improve their country. I'm not against trade either.
You know, that might be a path worth pursuing. A slow withdrawal of forces, but reinterating commitment to NATO. That gives us time to rebuild our armies and you a horizon where your troops are home. And, more importantly, continues the message that we are there for eachother.

You brought up us having your cars here... i think America doesn't need help making cars.
Have you driven a BMW? Trust me, you need help 😉. No, just joking (and i have to admit, a friend of mine bought a Tesla recently and i was impressed). Anyway, sure, you can try to do as lot as you can locally and close your borders for competition. I don't think that will bring back as many jobs as you want (and even if it did, you don't have the people to fill those jobs with). What it will probably do though, is increase your prices and decrease the quality of what you are getting for it (less competition tends to have that effect).

Your talk about the way it's always been and what not. It's rubbish. People in abusive relationships shouldn't stay with their abuser because they hope things will get better or because of history between them.
I don't think, we are abusing you. I like to think of it as mutual beneficial.

Yes we have become reliant on the world, but by choice. Not necessity. We can undo that choice. Being more self sufficient doesn't mean isolationist either. I'm tired of people redefining words to fit their bullcrap.
Creating independences is a way to keep us all safer. It was the founding principle of the precursor to the EU; interlink those industries that are needed for war over multiple countries, so waging it would become really difficult. It worked for the EU, i am hoping, it can work for the world too. At the moment, obviously, we are seeing mixed results.

Trust me, i understand that no country acts purely out of altruism. Which is actually my point, the US benefits when Europe is safe and free and there was a time when it understood that. Also, i don't understand why that dream needs to be just american. Why can't it be "the western dream" (other than that it doesn't roll of the tongue as nicely), or just the dream for all of humanity. Mind you, not saying you (or we) should topple dictatorships all over the planet (and it obviously didn't work out so well trying to do that in the middle east), but why diminish your accomplishments, where you actually did manage to create a better life for people?

You're also exhibiting the mentality that because America has helped the world the world is now entitled to its help indefinitely.
Personally, i don't feel entitled. I think it is in the best interest of both our countries, if we work together. Again, leave, if you want to, there is no way we can or will make you stay.

I would never suggest that you are bad people, nor am i suggesting that things are just great as they are. I'm just saying that electing him isn't going to help you.

Well, if you like deep dives into the causes for how things can be distorted (even without intention), i can recommend "People Like Us" from Joris Luyendijk. It's the experiences of a dutch journalist working in the middle east. Among the many anecdotes, you'll find him discussing how hard it is to 1) find the truth at all and 2) report on all its complexity and nuances in 30 seconds on the 8 o'clock news.

Look, as i have mentioned, i don't know that much about American internal politics or policies. But i am guessing, is that you don't need to rip all your treaties apart or throw up trade barriers to have a better life for your citizens. In fact, i think it might even harm them in the long run, if you do. Really, take a moment to watch a documentary about life in, i don't know, the Netherlands or Germany. There is financial stress here too, sure, but it seems of an entirely different order.

Trump is one of those few percent. He seems to be doing exactly those things, that give the powers-that-be even more power. I'm not denying your problems nor want to distract you from them, again, i am saying you need someone else to fix them.

You know, that might be a path worth pursuing. A slow withdrawal of forces, but reinterating commitment to NATO. That gives us time to rebuild our armies and you a horizon where your troops are home. And, more importantly, continues the message that we are there for eachother.

I don't think, we are abusing you. I like to think of it as mutual beneficial.

Your position is that electing him won't help us as if electing another Clinton or Harris would have. I can tell you Trump is the first president in my life that has helped me directly. In more than one way. I don't agree with everything he does, but I agree with more than if it would have been Clinton or Harris were in. We are never going to agree on this. I am gonna vote for what is best for me and my people. You do the same.

Also you have had almost 80 years to rebuild your armies. How much longer you need? Lol. I was using the abusive partner thing as an example. It was a metaphor for cutting away from things that are hurting you in anyway when they become to costly.

Let me tell ya a fact of life. People don't change until they need to. So let's see if Trump is crazy with his behavior or just plain dumb or perhaps there is a method to the madness. I like a nice game of following cause and effect. Here we go. He threatens to pull out of NATO and to invade Greenland. You guys panic. You decide to buff your militaries(events that have happened or are happening now). You don't need us anymore because you are buff! Therefore... we can cut military spending (With this being said we won't actually cut military spending. We are gonna reallocate troops to continue our plan of world domination that started in 1990). So yeah Trump has you worried... but maybe that is the plan. Not his plan either by the way. Same strategists that work for him worked for Obama, Bush jr, Clinton, and Bush sr. The guys in the Pentagon who aren't affected by elections that nobody in the media ever talks about. We don't need to protect Europe anymore... we're in the endgame now. Russia and Asia are next. That crap happening in South Korea right now with the USA telling them to buff their army... do you think it is coincidence this is happening considering in their new constitution this past year North Korea has recognized South Korea as sovereign nation along its southern border and has abandoned reunification? So if South Korea builds its army and puts it along the border North Korea will begin to worry. Cause tensions to rise between the two. North Korea will put its military along the border as a buffer. Which then the USA government will use that as pretense to arm South Korea. That equipment with the range that could hit the capital of North Korea. So North Korea invades to prevent that equipment from being setup and we got a new war on our hands. FYI this is the same thing we did with Russia and Ukraine. It's textbook at this point. I can't help I recognize patterns that repeat.

As far as Trump helping the rich? That's been the par for the course for a very long time now with all politicians. It's not new. I shall explain.

Let me give you some history that actually most likely affected your people as well. When the Great Depression happened in America we passed the Glass-Stegall act in 1933 to prevent anymore big collapses. In that bill it stated insurance companies, commercial banks, and investment banks are not allowed to merge. The idea was collapses were inevitable and to make them smaller. Uninterrupted prosperity with it in place for ensued for 65 years with it almost completely untouched. Then in 1998 it was gutted in a bipartisan effort and championed by Bill Clinton. It was introduced by 3 republicans. After that they all started merging. Commercial banks giving out stock exchange based loans. Banks convincing people to reverse mortgage their homes. They had everything to gain and couldn't lose. These reverse mortgages and home loans for new buyers where based on the stock market as well. We're talking they were giving McDonald's workers or people on social security home loans for up to 500k in some instances. Well naturally some started defaulting because they were irresponsible... the stock market dropped slowly ballooning the mortgages slightly. Not enough to bring it all down right away, but enough to affect the low income, but responsible borrows enough to make them default overtime. By 2007 all those reverse mortgages and home loans by middle class and upper middle class people based on the stock market began to balloon rapidly in order to keep the stock market afloat. Some people reported payments going from 600 one month to over 3k the next month. So they defaulted and it completely crashed in late 2008. The government then bailed out Wallstreet. 732 billion dollars of American tax payer dollars interest free to be paid back. The banks took that money and loaned it to Americans and even back to the government with interest... yeah. The interest they used to pay back the bailout. Oh and most of those homes that defaulted... the banks kept...

Best part everyone involved in gutting Glass-Stegall got way richer after that. Handouts from Wallstreet with high paying consulting positions or speaking fees as a thank you for helping them with the biggest heist in the history of the world.

So you wanna say Trump is the only crook? I am sure he is one, but he is small time compared to what has been done to us. Politicians on both sides going from rags to riches when they get elected to do favors for the rich. Democrats and Republicans both. Doesn't matter who the president is. I could go on for hours about all the scams both sides run. Insider trading, corrupt NGO's, ect.

I am gonna vote for what is best for me and my people. You do the same.
Wouldn't want to have it any other way.

During the Cold War, we had quite the military. Perhaps still not as impressive as the US, but remember, Europe was cut in two and needed to be rebuilt from the ashes of our bombed cities and infrastructure.

We started to think about peace dividends, after the wall fell. For a few decades of ignorant bliss, we were under the impression, that full scale engagements were a thing of the past. Quite a few of us thought, that most nations, in the end, would follow our trajectory and transform themselves into "well-behaving" democracies of one sort or another. You know, that whole "end of history" concept of Fukuyama.

Obviously, we were wrong, a costly mistake that we now need to correct.

I wouldn't entirely leave Putin out of it, though. Starting a war next door is what kicked off the frenzy. Almost immediately after Russia invaded Ukraine, Germany's chancellor basically declared "we're going to be sooo back" in a speech that is referred to as the "Zeitenwende speech", translated as "historic turningpoint speech". But yes, Trump is not just adding fuel on the fire, he is starting entirely new fires as well. And if he did that in peacetime, it would have been bad enough. But he is doing it in a way that emboldens our opponents, while an active war is raging.

Oh, South Korea has a pretty impressive army. The US is just showing, to the whole world, that it acts as a mafia boss, rather than an ally. It will make everyone, friend and foe, distrustful of you. That is going to hurt you, eventually.

Cause tensions to rise between the two. North Korea will put its military along the border as a buffer. Which then the USA government will use that as pretense to arm South Korea. If that is the plan (and, it's not), you are basically deliberately provoking wars between your allies and their opponents, only then to step back from the mess you created. The whole world will have justified contempt for you. No, there is no 4D-plan here. Mostly just sheer blinding incompetence, mixed in with short-sightedness and delusions of grandeur.

So you wanna say Trump is the only crook? I am sure he is one, but he is small time compared to what has been done to us. Then, have better institutions, have better press, protest, make them sign laws that prevent that kind of thing. Try to find a way out of a world, where we are just ingesting what the algorithm of a tech company tells us to ingest. Democracy only works, if you make your politicians accountable. Yes, it's hard and, honestly, some of that stuff happens here too, so, unfortunately, no-one has a foolproof method yet. Having said that, i'm pretty sure, the path you are going on, is heading in the wrong direction. Now, we have our own little Trumps running around... i just hope, we are not going to follow your example.

Well if we're on the wrong path it's no better than the last one. Oh you got more leaders like Trump running around listening to people instead of ripping them off while talking down to them? Sweet.

Well if Iran able to reach NATO countries with a ballistic missile hasn't worried them, I'm not sure much will.

Well if Iran able to reach NATO countries with a ballistic missile hasn't worried them, I'm not sure much will.

The true unsaid objective with Iran is to pound them into the ground so Isreal can police them so we can move on from the Middle East. Also they are a Russian and Chinese ally so it's setting us up for our eastward expansion.

They literally said they want to start reallocating American troops eastward. They're telling South Korea to saddle up. Kim is making lots of money from sending his troops to Russia. North Korea also given up on reunification and recognized South Korea as a sovereign nation that makes up their southern border. America can't afford for its enemies to be stable. So South Korea builds its army like we tell them to. North Korea puts its army at the border as preventive measure thinking South Korea might attack them and stops sending them to Russia. We use that as an excuse to send weapons to South Korea that can strike further into North Korea. Then North Korea invades. Same exact thing that happened with Ukraine and Russia.

This just in Trump has signed an emergency proclamation renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America.
In related news Canada's PM Mark Carney has just signed an emergency proclamation renaming Lake Ontario to Lake Epstein.
I feel another war of 1812 brewing.
