Trump has the money and ability to tie this up in courts for YEARS. He will be out on bond the entire trial. He may die while on trial. The Billionaires rarely go to jail. That's just how the world we live in is.

The problem with the idea that future presidents will use the DOJ against political rivals; as I see it. I only see the Democrat Party doing this. The Republican Party has never been even remotely good at sticking anything to any degree for any reason to a Democrat, where as the Democrat Party can literally make up a lie and have it stick.

This is true but that's just how the judicial system works. Best thing Trump could do is not post bail and let America elect the first political prisoner as president. Let him sit in jail for a few months and see how Georgia likes its jail shut down with the secret service condoning it a secure area and clearing out all personnel. Look into 18 U.S.C. §§ 871, 879, 1751, 1752, and 3056(d), and 18 U.S.C. §§ 115, 351, and 2332b.

Just because it hasn't happened in the past does not mean it will not happen in the future.
 
the real question should be how many more times is djt going to land himself in hot water with the authorities? and how much longer are people still going to believe him and preach and commit to vote for him... as long as he keeps doing it, the threads are not only valid but acceptable. a person seeking the appointment to the office of the president needs to not only be a law abiding citizen, but also have moral standings. nixon was lambasted by his own party for lesser offences. and he took it on the chin and did what was best for the office, even if he did hold onto and speak publicly his personal opinion.
