Female UM?

I made a point in another thread that sometimes, people prefer speaking to a particular gender in regards to issues.

Could we consider getting a female UM for this reason?

A woman reporting sexual harassment might not want to deal with a male, for example. On the other foot, a male might not want to speak to a female... or maybe he does want to speak to a female over more sensitive issues that wouldn't be deemed masculine or something. It could also help to have someone see something from another viewpoint.

Not disregarding current UMs (Well, not the majority of them) being approachable or anything. Just think it might be a nice idea to have both a female and a male in a UM position for moments where this might be the case?

Dude, stop hahaahhq. I've been fasting all day despite going to the gym from work. I'm so tired from laughing at him changing his vote, I dropped my phone and felt I was going to tumble over when picking it up. I cant..my stomach hurts too.

Reminds me of the time I gave some friend on Xbox's son ADMIN privileges on my Battlefield 3 server and all he kept doing was kicking anyone who beat him or switching users to the opposite team when they'd get into any air craft he wanted.
 
Lol please say someone voted for this "other" option that I apparently missed.

Also funny how I thought a discussion on multiple genders would be what gets this derailed a few hours ago 🤦‍♀️

I just want to add my two sense for a minute. Many people are aware of what i just went through for MONTHS being harassed and my life as well as my children’s lives being threatened, Leigh was the one who finally got them banned and who took this situation seriously. Now the mods in singles were great, I’m unsure what Dylan did but this person did not get banned for it. When i let forum staff know that it the harassment was happening here as well Ness was kind he said to let him know and he would help, HR did not. My significant other was also harassed in this whole thing being threatened and HR told my significant other to use block. I think a female was have protected my significant other and myself from what happened because some men didn’t take what was happening seriously. Screem and Moose were absolutely amazing every step of the way but of course they couldn’t stop what was happening on forums. I was innocent in what happened yet in the one who has to delete my account and leave the site because of how unsafe i felt. Leigh made me feel safe to stay and she fought for me. Call me whatever you want for saying that but women just care more, and yes they are men who are sensitive as well. A female being here would make all the difference for many people.

Screem is not absolutely amazing in any step of the way.

I want him to retire from C/A with no 401k and retirement money

Hey sweetie I’m glad to see you back. Screem might have those who dislike him but i knew that if screem was in singles i was safe, it meant a lot to me.

Of course Dolonia, but I never dislike screem, he's very harmless soft as Charmin tissue.

I just wanted to help screem retire, he's been here before most of any users existed on today's C/A. I was only 9 yrs when screem started this and im year 1990. Just wanted to help fix he's life and enjoy the real life world.

I would have to agree with you on this , there would be some topics I would never feel comfortable discussing with a female, there would be times as you pointed out a sexual assault victim would most likely never discuss that issue with the opposite gender. Female victims wouldn’t necessarily talk to a man and vice versa
 
H.R. has shown he has no clue about women at all. He thinks women like the mongoloid and the ketchup facer is hot because they follow his every fart. I think it is time for us to stand united. H.R. needs to step down as forum mod. Allow him to keep General Chat , with a warning label , "If you been sexually assaulted avoid General Chat because they think that is funny shite there.
