I get where you’re coming from. This whole life can seem a bit long. Although, a bowhead whale can live up to 200 years. Quite impressive! Maybe we should ask it for clarity and wisdom. It might leads us to destruction. Pack your gear and say goodbye to Sally! We’re going on an adventure! ☺️
 
Life's so short. So be kind of everybody This is in general. I'm talking about the mean cruel people on here. Not you. Life is so short to be unkind. Does this make sense.
 
Yes, this does make sense! Last year, I was talking to an old grandma at Home Depot and I said to her, “Hey fool, let’s talk about what we need to do so this no longer stands between us. What can I do to help?”

She replied, “You must exist no more! All the pain and hurt you caused me is like poking a stick in my open wound. Would you sit down and listen to my past unresolved feelings?”

I was greatly happy and very compassionate to hear her as I said, “FINE! WHATEVER! I KNOW WHAT IS RIGHT AND YOU DON’T!

She laughed and we both played chess and had an amazing time! She won every game and faded back to darkness.
 
With great deeds, art or love your name echoes forever trough the corridors of immortality. And writers and poets will make sure you're not just another "unsung hero" .

Immortality can be achieved by anybody that behaves good all of their life, does good deeds throughout your life, god will bless you as one of his angels. you will achieve the immortality that you want. you will just be in heaven instead.

The second way is become really famous like Pele, Maradona, anybody that is famous and really respected in their respective countries, they are Immortal in the sense even after being dead in 400 years, people will still remember them.

Third method accept death is just the beginning of your re carnation as another life, nobody stays dead forever.

If you cant achieve any of them. i'm afraid you will just have to accept you will just die, that will be it.

Human memories, ideas, culture, history. Is it something that should not be passed on? Should that information be left off at the mercy of nature?

I think that human memories, culture and history as part of the past play very important part in the future. Because how can we have future it we don't know or learn from mistakes or good things done/ happened in the past.

As to mercy of the nature, I do strongly believe that some things should be left as they are/ were.
Despite recent attempts at control, most human history has been lived with deep respect for the power of nature.

These days, it feels like we live in a relative period of safety and confort, with nature seemingly under our thumb, will not last forever.
The Corona virus outbreak may be a harbinger of diseases to some. As the human population grows, we will encroach on more wild places.
Aids, Ebola, West Nile, SARS, Lyme disease... and hundreds more that have occurred over the last several decades - don;t just happen.
They are a result that people do to nature!

We must learn and see the past present so we can have the future. Immortal stories/ happenings or persons are one way to preserve that..
So, glory to all immortals but also to the writers that whiteness human wisdom and the time.

War is a cruel parent but an effective teacher. Its final lesson is carved deep into my psyche that this world and all of its people are diseased.

Kill or be killed! You can’t fight nature user! Wind blows, rain falls and the strong prey upon the weak.

Don’t be ashamed, it’s only nature running its course. You have no choices to make, nothing to answer for. You can die with a clear conscious…

Watching everyone you love die one by one, trends coming into existance and fading, no connections ever mattering, quickly becoming a nihilist, time becoming meaningless, the desire to make the most of life before death fading slowly. And if we go far enough the sun consuming the earth to either endlessly wonder the scorched earth or float in the infinite void that is the universe

I’ve been crawling in the dark looking for the answers. Help me carry on. Assure me it’s okay to use my heart and not my eyes to navigate through the darkness. Will the ending be ever coming suddenly? Will I ever get to see the ending of my story?

Immortality is a fate worse than death after all who would want to watch their families die their children die then their children’s children then the great grand children and friends and then watch humans leave earth and watch our solar system die long after then be Clinically insane from all the loss and want to die but not be able to and go into catatonic state of mind
 
Besides a person can only cope so long with solitary isolation and loss and psychological stress and trauma and the fact of being immortal on top of that knowing you can’t die would drive you mad
 
Anyways as I was saying yes immortality is a Curse worse than anything you could possibly imagine and I wouldn’t wish it on the cruelest of all people even
