Pretty much what @SouporMan said. I'd love to kick based on that criteria except that hasn't been established. If we did kick by that, then we'd be kicking Black Lives Matter, Black Power etc. As I always tell ********, unless it's a specifically banned term or a a name with sexually related overtones, it's about context.@NavyWings let's see what he says about that SS first since he is in it 🙂
edit: that user account is 8 days old, and staff have been increasing kick times etc. Previously, that sn was a guest and banned. I had given a ban warning, and the user name is being banned.
Thank you for bringing this user to our attention.
You believe racism can only go one way? You believe one race has a monopoly on racial pride over another? Again, not my rules dude. Take it up with HR.Wow, you really just equated BLM to a white supremacy chant? Really?
And for your review from Merriam Webster:Wow, you really just equated BLM to a white supremacy slogan? Really?
Yeah but you are defending the cries of an era where people were literally hung. And for your review from Merriam Webster:
Definition of racism
1: a belief that race is a fundamental determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.
I didn't notice a specific race mentioned in that definition. So IMO, if you don't allow "WhitePower, then you don't allow "[Anyrace]Power.
I never said that I said you're making a horrible false equivalence. BLM isn't a racist movement either so I'm not even sure where you get comparing that to a literal slogan/chant used by actual hate groups...
AND you make the false equivalency that celebrating a race automatically means that is denigrating another race. Now if WhitePowerbyJove was making racist comments in chat denigrating a specific race, that would be grounds for mute/kick.
Is there encouragement? I didn't see encouragement. We can make moral equivalencies all day if you like. I'll enforce whatever HR says to enforce.Again we really shouldn't encourage users to use white power in their name by any means...
The BLM movement has been labeled the same as the white power movement, but that is bogus. Again, white power is fueled by 100's of years of racism.
In America it is a sensitive topic, people were hung.Everyone thinks celebrating one thing is criticising something else. That’s all thanks to the me me me culture. So to that I say…
Bitch you ain’t special.
Not sure why this wasn’t closed- I’d have bet my life savings this would turn into a **** show.
