I'm surprised this is on General Forums quite frankly, but hey, the admin started it and he posted it here, so here it shall be.

I should like to point out that the issue isn't about firing admins and mods or whatever personal gripe white shield has against the world. It's about protecting minors from people who are trying to groom them, as well as ensuring that women and men can use chat without it being a hell hole of doxxing and nudes.

I mean, this site (and others) has always had a struggle trying to stop older users abusing minors, it's not like this is a new issue, the problem is that at the moment, the rules seems to be slanted to protect those who are preying on those who know no better (regardless of whatever sexual knowledge a 13 year old may have, I don't think they're quite ready for an onslaught of 55 year-old erect penis, you know?).

The cover-our ass mentality of chat is that the screenshots could be faked so we can't do anything about it, because it could be someone trying to destroy a chatter, or hey, if you don't like a 55 year old talking about how he'd like to have anal sex with you, just ignore him. So, the rules the mods have to follow say that you have to send them an unedited version of whatever unsightly thing someoine said or showed to you in the room, yet even if you do that, they say it could be fake.

I mean, yes, if a mod decides to follow the rules and kick and protect people from those who want to harm them, they'll be fired within a week, and people who mod do so because they want to help the rooms and the ******** who are there to have a normal conversation (at least, they did). So I understand why this whole issue is frustrating for them, because if you get fired you can't do anything, and if you do try to help without mod status you get accused of being a mini-modding troll who is bitter they've been fired (which is a very adult and serious thing for an admin to type about an issue).

This whole issue shows a far wider problem of enabling the dangerous behaviour of some ******** with no care of the effect it may have on those they choose to abuse.

Before you point out the issue make sure it is correct.

Many people like you come and go. In the past The Shield didn't say anything to you doesn't mean you can say whatever you want and you can get away with it.


General Chat has many problems. It's not just about doxxing. You need to know behind the scene before you make any comments about WhiteShield.

good point. The rule about doxxing was to prevent the exploitation of minors by doxxers posting kids babies as victims of sex crimes etc etc and other vile references. Hoodie was banned on that. But doxxing itself- is not something I can ban at will I simply cant do it. I was hoping to move in that direction as I found management to be receptive to imput. I get full support to deal with pedos for example. I hoped that the rules to protect kids from doxxers would be a start. I hope to be persuasive from a respectful view- which encorporates the reality that all volunteers serve at the ;pleasure of management. Management does not work for me, I work for them. My guess is now my efforts will be made more complicated, and ******** will just have to see that- or come from their perspectives and not. It doesnt matter much. .

.My perspective is that the very reason we have mods is to kick nudity. If you want nudity banned ie me banning-no warning to suit your goals- you will need to get CM team to order it. Until then, I am clear- we will kick . . .and kick and kick some more. If we’re protecting kids, that would be to stop nudity on general main chat. IE, someone’s naked photos. It’s fantastic that we are allowing for this to continue, HR.

With this being the reference point, in accordance to this, is it genuinely so unreasonable to ban people who are repeatedly doxxing? We understand you can't just ban them on a whim, we have NOT been asking for an immediate ban and you're doing that "you're asking for too much" bs again. We're asking that the repeat offenders of both doxxers and pedos/porn posters be banned ( pedos are finally on that list but the repeat porn posters like Popo/Carnage are kinda still a pretty big problem ). We shouldn't just aim to keep the kids safe, we need to give some attention that peoples families are getting exposed to our bullshit site and users.... If it was just someone with a mom name that'd be one thing, but this is clearly not the case. I stand by that I don't think you should be letting this level of doxxing slide.

I've been using chat rooms since I was 10 years old, in all my years, I've not seen this level of crap being done...... That should honestly speak fucking VOLUMES. But, I'm just an unreliable source, obviously here for the fucking drama.🙄

HR, nudity is being exploited to underage kids. That’s a serious offence. I don’t know how else I can put this.

Doxxing is against the law, and cyber harassment mate. Again, I just.. there’s no point even continuing because you’re not listening.

those are pending and have been . you can make the assumption that any flag or complete unredacted SS . need to come direct to ..... not to mods. not yo your pals direct to me. hanna may be on a final . .which ive been trying to work on .during the love-in. But im well aware no matter whatr the mods do- it will never satisfy some people. You simply need to trust that certain things take time. But u likly wont.

carnage is equal parts guilty of posting ACTUAL PORNOGRAPHIC GIFS that we've all had the absolute displeasure of seeing and reporting time and time again but hey, that's fiiiine right? Right. He's been doing that since before you became admin but mkay, lets just...put that on pending.

So removing an Admin for the next one to take up the bullshit that already occurs and has occured for the last upteen years is the solution?

HR is trying his best to order the room in the confines of CM and site Admin ~ like any business (this is CM's actual business) you have to go through the chain of command and find a solution. This is not as simple ban them ban them!! Hence why I was asking CM and Admin to enter the room and watch the complete idiots doxxing, posting porn, naked pictures of ******** they post themselves an so forth to see what the acutal issue are.

I am sure this is not going to happen and im wasting my time with asking them to come and witness the issues.
 
After reading all 125 posts of this thread, I decided to take another look at the site's terms of service. Not sure who wrote them, but in a nutshell it pretty much says "we're not responsible for anything, we can't be held liable, and we'll do as we please with people that don't adhere"........................................

This is exactly why I say the only chats that should actually be 13+ is kids and teens. HR did mention that nudity isnt porn, however nudity involving minors is extremely seriously illegal in a general manner and even if its not illegal, clearly ChatAvenue doesnt approve p3d0philia behaviour. Which is literally bannable. Wanna prevent that? At least put the chat to 18+, that way you wont have to deal with the issue. If a minor visits the room, and a case does happen, then the guardian will be at fault, if the chat is only meant for adults, not minors.

Highly doubt CM would get involved. Dont see how hes trying his best with what even some of the mods are saying, but I digress. Again, I highly doubt CMs gonna do something about this. This can turn into a case where its not the admin, but more so the owner of the site's responsibility, needing to be held accountable. As for the insane doxxing issue this is exactly why VPN should be allowed and/or encouraged, but that won't happen (even though the trolls dgaf about that rule), and the fact that some people in the chatrooms share their own personal info that leads to doxxing (which doesnt mean they deserved it, clearly, but we should know better considering its the internet).

I mean the ones being doxxed probs clicked a dumbass link so it’s their own problem. But any kid being doxxed harassed tortured by a overage adult should be banned on the spot. Also that new general chat bot is annoying as hell. Whatever the hell CM was thinking with that 😂😭

I think they do but they likely have ways we dont know of. I do know- when I have honest questions and etc I .....................gvet quick help. But Im not the ones who can snap fingers and expect upper to appear at my whim. I know pretty much the grade of the goalposts I have. I ask for clarification when need be. At the root there have been (imo) instances of mod abuse over years that have made them reasonably wary of letting any volunteer go on a long rope. Im hoping to earn that trujst that the last resort is in good ha.nds with me. Biut its their call. As a new admin but an experienced mod and yes Ive been around this chat for some time too,. im realistic enough that it will be earned or it wont.
 
And I'm still waiting for my compilation of Raidah's screenshots to be addressed with something other than "He wasn't being serious" or "He didn't know she was 15" as both of these statements are proven as lies in my SSs.

This gives a very strong case that this chatter has violated the ATTEMPTED EXPLOITATION of a minor, which is supposed to be met with a ZERO TOLERANCE of a BAN. Not a supposed "Ban warning", because "It's a prank bro" is actually some sort of valid excuse that completely invalidates the idea of ZERO TOLERANCE.

And for doing the due diligence of reporting this to you, in PM, as requested, we're labelled mini modders and trolls that are selfish and in no way are just trying to look out for the safety of minors in this once loved chat room of ours.

This is ridiculous and inexcusable. Even if he WAS joking, it's called consequences of your own actions, because tolerating this based on a joke doesn't appear to be a case of ZERO TOLERANCE.

As I told you, I had no desire to get involved int his stuff until you dragged me here.

And the reason I haven't made forum posts is because I was following the guidelines to approach you in PM about this first, combined with the fact I lost confidence in forum posts long ago when my valid complaints were similarly dismissed for "trolling" etc etc.

EDIT: I'm really not sure sporting is the right word, here. Being called A "failure mod" or disgraced mod or some other similar silly **** when I have no desire to mod this place anymore doesn't seem to fit the definition of sporting.
 
Why even start this thread if you don't want a discussion on the issues you spoke about HR? It seems the intent of your post was merely to try and invalidate others who have actually made fair points. Dropping certain people's names in an attempt to bring question about their motivation and character because you're floundering under scrutiny.

Assuming I’m part of the “cohort”— I can speak for myself. I’m not a blind sheep just baaing along and saying and doing whatever my “dear leaders” are telling me to do. I think it’s an insane coincidence that there are multiple people on this thread.. that all appear to be against exposing children to nudity, grooming, doxxing, harassment, cyber stalking.. should I go on? It’s almost like we’re… good people?
I believe the words YOU told me once HR when I wanted to express an opinion were.. “stand down, bunny.” Sorry home slice—not standing down when the well being of kids are involved and innocent people’s lives are being ruined.

I keep seeing this "it's been dealt with" phrase. I do not think it means what you think it means.

One of the parties have been banned, well two if you count hoodie, but they aren't the only ones participating in this. Quit trying to get the threads that have not been resolved ( despite this not having been posted in complaints where it honestly should have been in the first place ) closed before people have a chance to come forward with what they have to say. This has been a VERY long time coming and I, as I'm sure others, would appreciate it if you could treat this with more care and understanding as a fellow adult/human being, instead of tossing hissy fits because it's not getting silenced like you want.

I would ALSO appreciate it if you would stop trying to bait people into an argument in main chat over it by using dismissive terms in main chat, this leads to problems like muting and kicking people and it has no real business being there. We have to behave and be reasonable and not disrupt chat, I'd assume this should apply to you as well.
 
in a 13+ year old room. there should be no nudity. shirtless or suggestive pics/gifs/videos. there should be no porn of any kind and there should not be any users who ask to chat with/share social media's/share pics with young/underage users. there should be no users posting(doxxing) others r/l in chat , main or otherwise. they should all be removed. not just warned , but kicked and continuously kicked and banned until they leave. allowing these things to happen not only is dangerous, it is illegal and in many places around the world violates internet safety rules and laws of underage (18yo) children/users and on top of that its morally wrong.

HOWEVER

chat avenue sold it's internet soul long ago when it took money/sold out to the soft porn site my free cams. CM(s) not only does not care this is going on. s/he literally tells the moderating staff not to do anything about it and if they do they are fired, because these users up the user count, and it recruits those porn addicts here causing more click revenue. it is no secret that users have found this place through backdoor ads on porn sites and my free cam ads all over the internet. it should be no surprise that cm(s) want to keep that revenue coming in.

the only way these issues will be resolved is by contacting the authorities concerning the site, because cm & site admin have no care that it going on and will do nothing about it. anyone, guest/user/admin/mod is allowed to make a report to local authorities, or national missing exploited children or Interpol. it isnt a fast process, and it mostly is a send report and never hear back again process, but if your conscious is screaming to tell someone, look up the resources. I've done it several times with varying degrees of success.

admins and mods need to fight, sometimes really hard to make a change on the site. the not subjecting underage users to unsafe things like doxxing,nudes,porn ****philes should be a no brainier, and the stiffest punishment should be handed out. but some admins/mods are willing to fight and some just roll over because its "too hard".
