Okie dokie, back to the Mercanary/Assassin/Roomies Thread. Put some thought into it, and here's the back story..... FROM THE BACK!!!1!!1one!!11!!eleven
It's back in the day, roughly twenty years or so, and we're all growing up in an orphanage. But this is a bad orphanage. Malnutrition, illness, death and child prostitution bad. The owner of the orphanage is extremely corrupt, selling the deceased children's organs for drug money, and then using some of that money to bribe little girls out of other homes. It's a very bad growing condition, and if you don't stick together, you don't last.
So you do. You and a group of what your tainted minds think friends are grow up together, defend each other, and give each other some of their bread when the other's is even moldier than usual. Skipping ahead, you're all about seventeen, fifteen, sixteen, somewhere in that area, and the constant beatings, horrible treatment, and everything that's been building up on your shoulders you whole life finally crumbles down around you, and you and your friends AWOL, run as far as you can, and live on the streets for three more years.
Over the years you learn to steal, cheat, lie, escape custody, hide, run, and most importantly, defend yourself. Two out of the number of friends you once had are now dead, and you and your friends will be too if you don't get as far away as possible. Seeing as Ireland is directly on the other side of the world from where you are now, you save up for months to buy one plane ticket, and your friends stay below in the luggage bay the whole flight.
Finally, you reach Ireland [And yes, it has to be Ireland because Ireland is a beautiful place, so there. 😛:], and move into an abandoned house on the outskirts of Dublin. The quickest way you can think of to make money for food, water and repairs on the house is to take a hit-job offering 300,000 for the murder of a corrupt buisnessman who's put hundreds of struggling families out of jobs just to make a quick buck. You use the skills you've obtained to get into his giant house, get past his posse of men and finally kill him, apoligizing to his corpse until it dawns on you that he was just like the man who caused you so much pain, suffering, and mental instability, and that he deserved what he got, but your friend who had his leg ripped apart by a shotgun didn't. [He's dead now.]
Flash forward a year and a half. You've done a few more of these jobs, and some of you have been severely injured in doing so. You all decide to brush up on your primary weapon skills, and you come back a year later, as a killing machine. The training was dark, twisted and grueling, and you don't like to speak of it, but it made you a killing machine. Most of you.
Five of your starting friends are now deceased, and it's just you and everyone else who joins this one. It's three years later, you're all around the age of twenty six, and you've grown to be one of the top assassination companies in the world, and you also provide military-like services, such as charging into a forest bunker in the middle of nowhere and killing fourty men Rambo-Style to save a dear friend of your client. You live in a mansion near the ocean with a beautiful sunset view, you've got a guy who helps you out with whatever you need, and your life is good.

I kind of wanted this to be a sitcom-ish sort of thing, but the more I think about it, the more I think it'd kind of suck. But if you guys want it like that, then I shall make it so. I wanted the characters to be completely three dimensional, so go ahead and throw in some love interests, cover jobs, even medications if you want to.

Okay, so i've got an RP based on a book I wrote. It's Fantastical. Just the background and story is a little complicated. So i think i'd have to explain everything before we all start. It involves 4 different worlds. And ultimately you'd be able to travel to all four, I would think maybe somewhere along the line. But, yeah i'll explain more in detail once i start the RP. Perhaps the first few posts can be like a story to explain ****, and then we can start Rp-ing!:dontknow:

So playing Pandemic II, I got this awesome idea.
Well, awesome in my mind.
There's a desease that comes from blood carrying oxegen infected with the Flu. A dude gets his finger nicked, it gets into the water supply, long story short, Australia has an epidemic. However, all it is so far is increased body temperature. But it quickly evolves, adapts, and spreads, and soon thirty two thousand people have a fever. It becomes airborne, latches on to other airbourne bacteria and spreads, also through the blood by open wounds and misquitos and other blood sucking insects.
From an airport it spreads around the world, until it reaches Asia, and because of such a large population, it spreads extremely quickly, becoming ever more lethal with every victim. The desease now attacks the brain, causing hallucinations and dementia.
It now evolves to depression, hypotonia and ataxia. By now it has become extremely resistant to medicine, and even grows stronger when introduced to extreme temperatures. The infected become suicidal and homicidal, depending on gender (Women suicidal, men the latter), and the United Nations undergoes a study for a cure. In two months, they have it.
Releasing the cure into the public before testing fully is a giant mistake. It only made the infected even more crazier, deadly, and the infection spreads alot quicker, and the desease evolves on a massive scale.
In one quick sweep, the infected who were exposed to the so-called "cure" gain sneezing, coughing, fever, sweating, vomiting, fatigue, nausea, pulmonary edima, hypersensitivity, kidney failure, hemorrhaging, liver failure, heartfailure, blindness and encephalitis.
People die left and right, and the desease evolves into somethign otherwordly: the infected's skin, organs, brain, even bone tissue begins to decay and bleed, causing extreme pain and voilent outbursts. The remaining infected lose all knowledge and memories, motor skills are taken away, and they refer to primitive instincts to live.
The desease, now rightfully called Lucifus-Armageddinitis, takes over the dead's nervous system, controlling the bodies and using them to further infect any immune. They aren't zombies, as they don't consume anything, and they aren't undead, simply egg sacs, if that's what you want to call them, they can spread desease just by laying there, as their decaying bodies give away gas, Lucifus-A goes into the air, quickly infecting oxegyn cells.
Many are immune, however, and the entire Western hemisphere is uninfected. Yet the desease has not just wiped out the dead and you have to find a boat and escape Australia, Asia, or Ican'tthinkofanywhereelseistan, no, no, no.
The insane ones run rampant, and though they have not died, the desease makes them only more brutal. The military leaves after countless efforts to strike back, the remaining are deserted, and you are left behind.
Which is where your story begins. You must fight your way through horrific sights, deadly territories, riots, and other various challenges that make you wish you had the balls to end your life. But just like the single blood cell that started this all, there is a lonely ray of hope in the back of your mind.
You can get out of the country a number of ways, by plane, boat, or floating door, but your skills or job has to match the way you plan on escaping, such as if you were a pilot, you would fly out. Keep in mind, however, that the infected do not travel far unless chasing something, and so normally crowded areas, such as airports, will be CRAWLING with the infected.
Along the way you will see infected people decaying and screaming in agony, bodies torn and mangled, and fires, broken glass, everything. It's a land of death, and you must find life.

Scenario: A man is found on the shores of Hawaii, his clothes are tattered, and his body is scarred and burnt. He appears dead. He is the lone "survivor" of his island several miles away (Let's make one up). The man appears to be insane, boasting large monsters that attacked his people from the Earth. When the US government send out a team to return the dead survivor back home, they find that there isn't a soul in sight. The island lost it's population overnight. 5000 people just disappeared somehow. There doesn't appear to have been any attack on the island, everything is perfectly fine, it's just there isn't any people. Suddenly their radio goes dead and they aren't heard of again. A privatised military organisation --(secretly funded by the UN)<-- let's just saY! -- is sent in on its first field operation to investigate the site. The island seems to switch between alternate realities in which there isn't anyone on the island, and then suddenly to the "DARK ZONE", the alternate reality, the island appears to be in a war of somekind. The island is torn apart, and is enveloped in darkness bodies lay scattered across the floor. Every so often a person is seen hiding in a small area, crouching over a dimlight or small fire, "It keeps them away!" they say, staring wide-eyed and fearful.
The TaskForce is known as... umm TaskForce!(I don't know😱k🙂 And each member has a type of paranormal ability that makes them immune in the Dark Zone, which is why they aren't stuck in it like the other peoples. This also allows them to see the scary boogies! (Kinda like silenthill. If you don't know... picture things contorted... like bodies and stuffs.)

Because they don't get stuck in the Dark Zone does that mean they can switch back and forth at will? So it's more that they stay in the Dark Zone most of the time to get to the bottom of everything since that's where all the action is, but it's just that they're able to leave back to the real world whenever they need to?

Me and my buddies had a Zombie Night, celebrating one friend's first girlfriend, who seriously looks like a Zombie. So playing Resident Evil, Silent Hill, all those good games, and watching Dawn of the Dead (Favorite movie ever.) Diary of the Dead, the newest Diary of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, Any Other Sequence of Letters Forming A Time Representing Word or Noun of the Dead, and Crazy Watercooler Thing With Green Stripes of the Dead, I have images of Zombies and ruthless killings.
So I'm starting the Infection thread whether people join or not, and whether those joining are ready or not.

Well yes and no. The Dark Zone is like a rift. It's not always there, but when it is, they can leave, however they'll still be vunerable to attack by the baddies, but once out of the Dark Zone, will be unable to see them.
However, it will also be easier to run away, as in the Dark Zone the island is utterly destroyed. So some places exist in the real world that don't exist in the Dark Zone, hence the baddies can't get you there.
They can only see the creepy **** when they're in the Dark Zone. And once the Zone passes they're safe again for awhile.

First off, if you can get high on herbs, they're already magical.

So here's a nerdy little request.
Star Wars RP nao plz?
I won't go into detail but I have a billion ideas floating around in my noggin.
So here's a bunch:
For your character, not about the actual story.
? Fully customizable lightsaber.
? Mastery of up to two techniques (Such as the way you hold your 'saber, or Force Lightning or something. 'Unno.).
? You can be a Dark Jedi or regular Jedi (Dark = Evil and Regular = Good, of course).
? If you're a Dark Jedi you can be put on reserve* or twenty four hour "I'ma track you down, grab you by the throat, and toss you into a wall" watch.
? If you're a regular Jedi you can have up to FOUR masteries, say for Force Lightning, Force Choke, Operation of Tie Fighters or something, or lightsaber control. (I'll get into that later.)
* Reserve is pretty much doing your own thing, whether it be tracking down your parents or learning new techniques.
LIGHTSABER CONTROL:
This is what I'm psyched about. =D!
Reverse: Holding your blade behind you like the Apprentice on Force Unleashed.
Duel Wielding: Two lightsabers.
Reverse Duel Wielding: A combination of the above.
Default: Pretty much the same ol' same ol' way of holding it.
Double-Sided: Double sided saber.
Double Double-Sided: Two double sided lightsabers.
Reverse Double Double-Sided: Two double sided lightsabers held behind you.
Be aware that the way you hold your Saber 'O Light affects the speed you can use it at, and thus mastery of your stance can come quite in handy. Here's a rundown of what's easiest to weild, and such. Top is easiest, bottom is opposite.

Reverse Duel Double-Sided

ALSOALSO: Is there any chance of being able to wield duel sabers, but one if default and the other reverse? As a sort of... half...-stance? For lack of a better term. ... Side-stance?
I dunno, but I'm imagining it'd be like...facing opponent sort of at an angle, almost sideways on, with one held forwards and the back one held as almost...a back-up weapon, or secondary weapon in the way that you'd only use it about half as much as your default saber - due to that being the easiest to wield - but you also implement some reverse saber techniques?

I have an idea... it's a My Little Pony RP. But maybe we could be like, fighters, and in clans.
And you don't have to be like a fukken pink-ass unicorn pegasus or some shit like that, you could be like a baddass black pony with skulls and lightning bolts and shit all over you.
And maybe we'd have PONY WARS, or like, a battle royale or some shit.

Oh, I've been meaning to ask for a while guys, concerning the My Little Pony Wars RP, would you prefer it to be two clans of ponies against one another or ponies versus Carebears?
There can be female AND male in either race.
You'll be able to choose colour scheme, abilities and such.
If you're a pony you can be a unicorn and/or pegasus, and as a Carebear of course you'll be able to have a special ability ray that shoots from your stomach (you'd probably have a symbol on your stomach that's related to the ability, like if it's a lightning strike or something you'd have a lightning bolt) and Carebears can also combine their bear blasts to make them stronger.
The original thing this beam would do would be to bring love and happiness into the enemies' heart, which in the RP would either temporarily stun your enemies and make them either fight on your side or not fight you at all and they recover from it after a while, or you could go for a more violent attack so it's just a general ray beam, maybe a combination of your personal skills, eg: lightning strike and starbeam would together make a starbeam with lightning affinity.
As for the ponies, obviously having a horn means that you can shoot some kind of blast from it and ram people with it, wings mean you can fly, and all ponies have some personal ability, maybe telepathy, maybe they can fire a beam from their eyes or mouths, and of course ponies and bears have different basic strengths, as bears are bipedal (walk on their back legs, have arms and hands) and ponies of course have four legs, but are able to pick things up in their mouths and stand on their hind legs for a short amounts of time, such as leaning up against something to reach higher with their head.
So lemme know. ;D

As for corrupt, what do you guys think about us making up like another character for another assassin team. It will make the rp more interesting, and we will have competition, except these people are like super super human people and can like totally kick our rear ends. It's just an idea.

I suggest we make an RP based on rape. BUT like it's a mystery. Everyone thinks it's rape. BUT it's not. It's consentual sex gone bad, and someone gets raped and it spreads like a virus. And before you know it everyone having consentual sex ends up raping eachother, but that's not all... because there's a looming disaster.
