Also how about this:
Scenario: A man is found on the shores of Hawaii, his clothes are tattered, and his body is scarred and burnt. He appears dead. He is the lone "survivor" of his island several miles away (Let's make one up). The man appears to be insane, boasting large monsters that attacked his people from the Earth. When the US government send out a team to return the dead survivor back home, they find that there isn't a soul in sight. The island lost it's population overnight. 5000 people just disappeared somehow. There doesn't appear to have been any attack on the island, everything is perfectly fine, it's just there isn't any people. Suddenly their radio goes dead and they aren't heard of again. A privatised military organisation --(secretly funded by the UN)<-- let's just saY! -- is sent in on its first field operation to investigate the site. The island seems to switch between alternate realities in which there isn't anyone on the island, and then suddenly to the "DARK ZONE", the alternate reality, the island appears to be in a war of somekind. The island is torn apart, and is enveloped in darkness bodies lay scattered across the floor. Every so often a person is seen hiding in a small area, crouching over a dimlight or small fire, "It keeps them away!" they say, staring wide-eyed and fearful.

The TaskForce is known as... umm TaskForce!(I don't know😱k🙂 And each member has a type of paranormal ability that makes them immune in the Dark Zone, which is why they aren't stuck in it like the other peoples. This also allows them to see the scary boogies! (Kinda like silenthill. If you don't know... picture things contorted... like bodies and stuffs.)

So Yes or No!?

Sounds pretty good too.
Because they don't get stuck in the Dark Zone does that mean they can switch back and forth at will? So it's more that they stay in the Dark Zone most of the time to get to the bottom of everything since that's where all the action is, but it's just that they're able to leave back to the real world whenever they need to?
 
Me and my buddies had a Zombie Night, celebrating one friend's first girlfriend, who seriously looks like a Zombie. So playing Resident Evil, Silent Hill, all those good games, and watching Dawn of the Dead (Favorite movie ever.) Diary of the Dead, the newest Diary of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, Any Other Sequence of Letters Forming A Time Representing Word or Noun of the Dead, and Crazy Watercooler Thing With Green Stripes of the Dead, I have images of Zombies and ruthless killings.






So I'm starting the Infection thread whether people join or not, and whether those joining are ready or not.

Also go rent Dawn of the Dead if you haven't already. I don't care how old you are.

Also watch the News Report feature and laugh at how cheesy it is.

Well yes and no. The Dark Zone is like a rift. It's not always there, but when it is, they can leave, however they'll still be vunerable to attack by the baddies, but once out of the Dark Zone, will be unable to see them.
However, it will also be easier to run away, as in the Dark Zone the island is utterly destroyed. So some places exist in the real world that don't exist in the Dark Zone, hence the baddies can't get you there.

They can only see the creepy **** when they're in the Dark Zone. And once the Zone passes they're safe again for awhile.

That definitely sounds pretty awesome. I'm a Silent Hill fan so it'd be pretty frickin' sweet to have an RP with that sort of theme. Sounds gooood.
 
I think we need a thread in which there's a serious story, but we all choose stupid, stupid, STUPID characters, and they act completely retardedly...like a comedy.

I really don't know what happened by War of Gods got deleted, I can do two things. 1: bring it back and leave the post there or 2: ask frosty to please please please just post that one thing and make a new thread
 
Okay let's just start over. We don't need character sheets. We already know our characters, and others. I think i still remember what i typed about the new plot. So we start from scratch?
OR
could you bring back for just a while so i can copy the sheets and the plot? and then delete it again?
