Spiritual POLICE

this is obviously the better answer

People need good public policies, targeted medical and psychological care. The church is only taking up this space because the State is failing these people.

What good is this when these people have an addiction and the choice to use these resources is voluntary.

Why is it bad for the church to violate autonomy but not the state?

Because in this way the State occupies a space that should not be occupied by churches, under any circumstances. So, if some students do not want to go to school, should we hand over the education of a country into the hands of the churches?

Why is the State secular?
There is a huge difference between caring for and indoctrinating a sick person.
The State heals.
The Church heals and indoctrinates.
A doctor will tell a patient to take dipyrone.
A pastor will tell a patient to take dipyrone and pray to God 20 times.
And that is where the danger lies.

Yes if the church is also educating them and making functioning members of society.

A doctor will also tell a developing confused 13 year old to have "gender reaffirming surgery" because she is being indoctrinated by the LGBTQ and because he is profiting off it.

Well, what I'm telling you is based on historical facts and events. Events based on the Islamic Revolution of 1979, the Ancien Régime of the 15th and 18th centuries (Absolutism). In other words, there are things I know, although in a very layman's way, not at all professional. Now, regarding trans medical indoctrination of minors, I don't know anything about it. So, I prefer not to talk about things I don't know. I'm out! Bye!

Not sure where this turned to a debate about forcing your beliefs onto people as it is a debate abour forcing people to get the help they will never seek out themselves because of additiction.

I think the photos you posted are self-suggestive
Suggestive of people that need an intervention, yes.
This is indoctrination 🤷

I don't know why, so don't ask, but calling them bums bothers me.

What's wrong with homeless?

They're not ALL bums. Some really DO just fall on hard times.

Just to play devil's advocate here.
nothing wrong with homeless i thought bum is just like the abbreviated word society has used for homeless people. Not denoting whether theyre drug addicts or fallen on hard times, just being homeless in general.

Bread you need to understand something you can't always be the hero in other people's lives . sometimes you got to just put your feelings aside and let people live the life that they want to live. You can't force people to change. If people want to change they need to do it for themselves. forcing them to change never ends well and they will just be going back to there old ways. How would you like it if someone forced something on you. You wouldn't like it. You need to have empathy when it comes to other people's feelings and have a understanding that you can't always be a hero. Sometimes you need to sit back and let other people make there own choices and take control of there own destiny. And I know your not gonna like this answer but it's the truth what gives you the right to force someone into something . You don't know what other people are going though or why they made the choices they did so what gives you the right to go in there and try to change them. Even if you think you are doing good your really not by forcing yourself on to people . The minute you force yourself in people's lives is the minute you lose there trust 💯

Today i come to debate a topic of whether bums (homeless people) should be forcefully rehabiliated against their will.

There is a group in mexico called the "policia espritual" (spiritual police).

They go around in a cargo van "cohercedly" kidnapping bums who are alocholics, drug abusers, and general nobodies in society. They "forcefully" take them in their state of inhebriation, drug abuse, talk to them with compassion and ask them if they believe in the gospel. They tell them they are intervening out of the necessity to save them because if given then the choice, they always choose the drugs, because its their addiction. They take them home, rehabilitate them, teach them the ways of the gospel and the end result is a uplifted, functioning member of society.

Should every developed country have a spritual police or do you prefer they be "free will" nobodies to be forgotten about in society, rotting their lives away with drug abuse?

If kidnapping them to fix their lives is last and only option to take then be it, if somebody kidnaps you to make your life better and offer free rehabilitation then let it happen it's for your own good.

Oh and for the term used above "bum" then once a bum always a bum 🖕😂😂

No charity should forcefully intervene or use coercion for anything. The only people that should do that are actual legal authorities.
The difference is one group of people believe you can be a good person, with religion or without . Religious people say those without are inherently bad. I know which side of the fence I fall on. . You don’t need religion to be a good person. Not bashing those of you who are religious. But. Mind the plank in your own eye before you point out my splinters.
