Strange race in Singapore on the Sunday just gone. Perez deserved his win but with the conditions being as they were, it seemed as though whatever tyres were chosen, the drivers weren't fully able to master the conditions. George Russell and Mercedes gambled on soft tyres but it was a gamble that never paid off. Who would have thought that a Mercedes driver would finish a full two laps behind everyone else (other than those forced to retire)? And that, in a race that wasn't even completed in full. Two laps short, due to time factors being brought into play. That said, it did make for an edge of your seat occasion, and Verstappen is still not yet certain of winning the drivers championship - although I think he will. Full credit to Sergio though. It was a very brave performance. It's also unlikely Max will be crowned champion in Japan this coming weekend. So the season has turned out to be more exciting than it might have been, had conditions in Singapore been ideal.
