I will order a vegetable based dish the majority of the time out of flavour and texture preference. From the list you listed, it sort of depends. Birds are weird and have human texture. If it's a cow, I'd prefer a steak to a ground cow. Pork I don't really have an opinion on positive or negative. Generally, if someone else is cooking, I'm eating whatever meat is in it. If I'm cooking, there's no meat in it. And if I'm at restaurant, I'll generally order a plant-based dish or whatever meat happens to be in the daily special.
Do you prefer to eat off a plate or out of a bowl? (Assuming the food is more solid than liquid and could reasonably be consumed out of either)
