If I was your mother, I'd have dumped you in a garbage tip somewhere...but then, that is probably what happened  I also thought that this article might help you out somewhat 🙂

Not at all.

What you do is, park your car in the Town centre.

You then walk to the building titled 'Job Centre'

You open the door

You walk in

You get a job!

Simple, huh?

Then you're a bigger arsehole than I took you for Loopy Minded. Half of those people that turn up at the Job Centre are barely literate. Saying that many of them particularly those on Job Seekers Allowance, only turn up to sign for their giro, pretend they're actually looking for work, then trot off until the next time round. Trust me I've passed there on my way to work, and the tards that hang around those doors couldn't get a job shovelling sh!t.

The ones who've bothered to get a good education and qualifications are either over qualified for menial jobs, or haven't enough experience within what ever field they wish to go into, so they're caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.

Oh and managing Wetherspoons is nothing to boast about either.

I agree...yer exactly right. I didn't get a teaching job this year but now I can't find a job in the school being an aide or whatever because I'm too qualified for it...at least in some places.

:hmm: Sounds like too much hard work for me i'd have ta get my lazy ass outta bed maybe next year

gets back in my lazy ass bed on my lonesome lazy ass self have a nice day at work mr liberal minded 😀

im old enough for a job but because there's a lot of places that wont take you on until your 18 my only choice is saturday jobs which dont exactly challenge you...not old enough for the job centre cause most of the jobs advertised in there are 18+ which certainly isnt me

to mr.liberal minded (yeah right) the thing about executing jobless people shows exactly why liberal democrats didn't get the vote. no doubt your opinion reflects the rest of the lib dems, the public caught on and put blair in, as much of a fool he is.

and wetherspoons? ha!

Why even start a debate if you're not even going to try to take into account what people are saying and instead just repeat yourself over and over?

I'm a manager of a Wetherspoons public house.

You bunch of lazy lay-abouts.

Go to the job centre! Get a job! Stop wasting taxes!

So that means you are a pint puller and a skivvy not a manager as you said.

What are you on ?3.50 an hour with a free coke at lunch ?

Dont judge ppl till you know them maybe that unemployed person might save your life when you choke on a ice cube ...if they can be arsed 😉

Just because your unemployed doesn't mean your lazy. Like someone stated you have to have a high school deploma, masters or a bachlers degree to get some jobs. At least a deploma. Alot of places want experience before they hire you. And you have to have had a job to get unemployment, and if you had a job to where you can get unemployment you payed in enough tax money for them to be able to support you till you get a job. Most of the time unemployment doesn't last for ever. I think with my state it's six weeks. You have to be looking for a job or they will find you a job.

my bf was unemployed for a month or two and ive never seen him work soooo hard just to get another job. he kept trying and trying for all kinds of jobs and in the end it all paid off. he now starts work on 4th of September 😀

Well done hunny!

That sounds a lot different to Australia. Here it is much, much harder to get a job after you turn 18 because of laws where they can pay 14-17 year olds a lot less. Is that most places that prefer to hire people over 18?

Crap

Crap

LMAO at over-qualified. That is just sheer lazy, you just use that as an excuse.

"Awww I didn't get the job I wanted" TF!

Get a different job!

Bunch of tax-wasting lay-abouts!

They should get a job or get executed.
Hubby has just had a 50 yr old fella working as his drivers mate ...now this fella was a top dog in computers ..why is he working 4 an agency as a drivers mate ...coz of his age & companys now adays want youth!! But the best 1 in the world 4 these ppl that r over qualified is thay have just come out of university & their lack experience & u cant get experience without a job & u cant get a job without experience ...& so the circle begins. But there r alot of ppl out there that wont get a job b.coz A. they cant be bothered B. they think the state owes them & C. they wont work 4 the money offered & D. they dont wanna be doin some crap job like cleaning bogs yet have the cheek 2 moan @ the immigrant workers who'll happily come in & do wot ever job just 2 earn a wage!! & hanging.... thats a bit far fetched the state needs 2 make it less appealing 4 them 2 remain on benefits

Where are all these jobs that are apparently in abundance? Lol, someone give me one. Every time I look, they're not there :dontknow:

There are jobs, but I think the problem is a lot of kids who've finished their schooling and obtained a Diploma or Degree, find it very hard to enter their chosen profession straight away. As Monster Munch said employers ask for experience, but if you've opted for a good education, chances are you've no experience. That's when you need to look at other alternatives as a stop gap.

Eventually the problem will get worse with the influx of economic migrants into the UK. Majority of them will do the menial tasks, but you'll also get skilled workers, and university graduates, who'll also work for less than we here in the UK would work for. Read an article this morning in the paper on those preparing to come from Romania and Bulgaria. One Bulgarian lady said she can come here to do cleaning jobs, and earn more in one month, than she'd earn in a year back home.

same here as with the bulgarian lady thing....theres a factory down the road from me that mainly employs foriegners because they work for less than most of the locals and yet are earning a lot more than they ould in there own country. only thing is half of them were teachers/soliciters/lawyers w.e in their country. and yet packing pastry in boxes earns them more. not sure if thats totally relevant to this thread but still lol
